I never really thought it held up as well as S. Morganstern's original.
While it was certainly novel for its tie, the context is lost on a modern audience and I don't think we can properly appreciate it anymore.
Goldman has stripped away the topical excesses and really delivered the heart of the tale. It is a different adaptation but one more suited for the audiences who will read it.

The sad thing about all these answer is that all of them are probably far more enjoyable than what I'm going to do in future.
13. Hawk-technican at the Firearms and Ice Cream Testing Facility- Nah, while I like ice cream, I'm not interested at all about guns. And it's testing, which could mean that they shoot ice cream to see if their gun has enough power.
12. Fifthfiend-technican at the Firearms and Blowjobs Testing Facility- Same as above, but blowjob>ice cream. It would also mean that they would shoot all the hos there after the blowjobbing.
11. Overcast-Owner of several vacation resorts- While fooling tourists would be amazingly sweet, it's not actual work. I would rather steal them without lying about its nature, as dream job means job that you would enjoy doing for me, it's not all about the money.
10. bluestarultor-Official Video Game Player- I would probably get bored after day or such, 'cause there's so much more interesting things in life than playing video games.
9. Rejected Again-Porn star- I really wouldn't like to meet idiots from streets who will say that hey, let's compare our penises. If you had suggested a a freelancer whore (you select who you fuck), however, you would probably won. You get paid that you fuck with people, there's probably less plastic boobies and fake orgasms there, and you can smirk when you see that lady with her husband.
8. POS Industries-The Mighty Thor- It's rather what your being is than work, and I would be comic book character. The real Thor would have ruled more, as now I would be beaten by Wolverine.
7. Archbio-Moon Empress/Emperor- I really don't have any interest at all to be ruler (of nothing but stone it being Moon). This, however, would have ranked over president of USA and astronaut, if it makes you feel better.
6. The Wandering God-Film critic- Good job in a way, but sad part is that this would mean that I would also need to watch complete crap. But also fantastic films. Heck, chances that I'm getting paid while watching some old comedies are enough for me.
5. 42PETUNIAS-Video game developer- Suggesting ideas, being in the story department would be actually kinda cool.
4. krogothwolf-Roadie- I would be like "fuck those rich bastards, I will pee on their instruments" all the time while listenning good music in concerts for free. And I would get paid.
3. Smarty McBarrelpants-Rainbow technician- This was basically the dream job, but it aint winner. Because it lacks dragons.
2. Krylo-God- Again, more of what you are than about job, but it's an actually god this time, and well, controlling everything would be interesting. Needing PR work in the form of Jesus because of the old testament would be embarrassing. Being non-believer would also make things interesting, I would imagine.
1. Zilla-Rock god- My artist name would be Pink and I would rip everything from the Beatles. Also doing drugs, sex and rock 'n roll would be also neat, so hell yeah.

If the bolded was unintentional, that is hilariously ironic because that character talks that way. He would literally say exactly that, and I'm pretty sure he has said something almost exactly like that. "What does this one means?"

The Legend of Dragoon has several of these, but I think the most frustrating part of the game before the end is when the idiot MC gets his magical macguffin stolen by some shitty random thief and has to go through an area with fucked up gravity, a boss battle, a ruin filled with larcenous enemies and traps, and another boss battle with the thief and his boss to get it back. Oh, and for the second boss battle, you're forced to use basically the most useless party member, who you probably have put zero work into up until that point because everyone else is just that much more effective until he gets weaponry with decent effects later that make him workable unless you want to cast magic. Then the boss dies and they make a big deal of this because they can.

I didn't play Fallout, Super Metroid, or MGS 4 (I plan to play MGS 4 at some point), but I like some of the lesser known suggestions. That's one reason I'm saying right off if I've played them or not, so people can try again instead of having answers that aren't even in the running because I haven't been through them.
I also haven't beaten Bioshock (I plan to at some point), but I know enough of the story to consider that submission.
Edit: Seil was SO CLOSE to going with the instant winner, but then he kept backing off and going for more and more distant placers. The instant winner was Sniper Wolf's death scene. Even yesterday, when I was looking through the different moments just to compare their impact, watching that scene brought tears to my eyes again. Even now, just thinking about it, I'm getting that pre-cry feeling...
But then he went with Gray Fox's death scene, which was also really powerful, just not quite as heartstring tugging as watching Otacon break down over the situation. I'm pretty sure that would still have won if he had gone with it.
Then he went with The Boss's death scene, which I felt was a shallow mirror of Sniper Wolf's death, but I'll get to that in 42's rating.
Then he went with a scene I haven't even seen or experienced, with a character I hate.
Alas...
Other very close contenders are:
- Getting the gun in Out of This World (or Another World outside of the US). This gun is my favorite weapon in the entire game universe, and the amount of power it puts in your hands is amazing.
- Being confronted by Ganondorf at the drawbridge in Ocarina of Time. I was scared!
- (impossible for anyone to guess) Fighting a close match in Super Smash Bros. Melee. It becomes a dance, and it's exhilarating!
- Defeating Malcolm with his own spell in Kyrandia: Book 1. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTXnUB3P3x4) He was one of the best villians in a game for being so extremely cocky, that making him cause his own downfall was the best comeuppance ever.
- Fighting Iron Knuckles in The Adventure of Link. Similarly exhilarating to SSBM.
- Fighting Iron Knuckles in OoT/ Majora's Mask.
- The credits sequence in Ocarina of Time. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ge8zd1ZR-hc) Specifically, the party at Lon Lon Ranch.
I'm sure I could go on, but it's ranking time.
Last: Rejected Again - COD's ending. I haven't played Call of Duty, and I don't care for it. I don't like the design elements in that game, and the "story" usually seems cut together from movies, which loses points. I didn't experience the ending, but I don't subscribe to any military mindset that would make an ending to this game have any resonance with me, so this gets dead last. :/
15. Bluestar: Legend of Dragoon. I didn't play this game, and I'm not easily frustrated by such things. I actually would have enjoyed using an underused character, most likely. Also, this sounds like those grindfest turn-based RPGs like Final Fantasy that I don't like playing at all... Sorry, wrong person for this one.
14. Seil - Raiden. I didn't play MGS 4, and I don't give two shits about whiney "We've managed to avoid drowning!" Raiden from MGS 2. I've heard he's a lot better in 4, but as it stands, I haven't experienced it yet, so this goes way back here. So close to victory, and then you second-guessed yourself down to here!
13. Archbio - Fallout: Bad Ending. I didn't play Fallout, but I can appreciate the "EVERTHING IS GOING TO HELL" in that video enough to rank it here on the list of things I didn't experience.
12. Masked Jedi - Euthanizing your faithful companion cube faster than any test subject on record. This was enough to elicit a laugh from me when it happened, but nothing more. It was funny, not emotional.
11. TWG - Still Alive. I didn't get to experience this in-game, unexpectedly, like a lot of people did. I first heard about it, and then saw it as a video. I'm sure it would have had a lot more impact on me if I had done it myself, but since I was spoiled on it, it was more a novelty than anything unexpectedly awesome. Amusing, but not emotional.
10. Ape Boy - Metroid's death. I know there was some heavy story significance in this, but I didn't experience it either. It must have been an emotional thing at the time, but Zero's death in Megaman X would have done a lot better than this for me, and I think the two are similar. This ranks better than the companion cube though, and that I actually DID experience! It would have helped if it was more intelligible creature instead of something that has a hard time communicating.
9. Hawk - Death of... someone... in Half Life 2. I'm still kinda half-heartedly playing Half Life 2, but I never played episode 2. The characters in this series are a little flat for my taste, so I can't imagine the magnitude of anyone's death being as moving as the entries further on. Not a bad try though!
8. 42 Petunias - Like likes eating my shield. I'm not an idiot, and this only happens to me in the original Legend of Zelda. If you had been specific with it being the original Legend of Zelda, this could have been second place, since I always manage to get knocked into one by a bubble, which means I CAN'T SWING MY SWORD and I know my shield is done for, and I have to go track down a shop and buy a new one. Every other game with like likes, they are either easy to avoid, or it's easy to get your shield back.
7. Krogothwolf - Zant being a badass. I was pretty mad at him for this scene, and there was emotion involved, definately. However, as much of a bastard as he was in this scene, and basically robbing you of your hard work, it isn't as much of an impacter as the later ones. A good entry!
6. Overcast - Andrew Ryan. A man chooses. A slave obeys. I didn't ever get to meet the man behind the talkbox, but I've heard enough about it to get a by-proxy experience. I'm sure this would have ranked higher once I actually get to this part of the game myself, but the excellent buildup they've done so far in the game guarantees this is going to be a scene to remember.
5. Kerensky - Farah steals your dagger. You spend the entire game relying on it, and suddenly your crutch is gone. This is an important scene, and there was an intense feeling of desperation associated with it.
4. Greed - MGS3 ending. It echoed Sniper Wolf a little too much, but it was still rather powerful. Good cinematic effects. For MGS3, The Sorrow's part with the river of the dead would have placed better.
3. B-HS - Collosus moving. OH MY GOD, I have to kill THAT?! This left me awestruck and humbled, and I certainly got a shot of adrenaline when shown the beast I was tasked to slay. The cinematography was amazing, and it was quite immersive. The feeling of "Holy shit." was tuned way up for this.
2. Krylo - Earthbound endgame thing. This is the highest ranking thing I haven't experienced, because I've seen the youtube and read about this, and even though I didn't play through the whole game, I got enough feel for it to understand what's going on. I really want to get to this part of the game.
1. Mr. Bookworm - Jenny's death scene in the Darkness. There was a ton of empathy for Jackie at this point, and the damn Darkness wouldn't let him move! All the stuff involved in this scene, delivered from a great first-person perspective, make this scene REALLY powerful. It wins.

And B-HS, WHY, WHY did you ever play the third game? I watched a longplay of it and I was thoroughly disgusted at the gaping plot holes they managed to punch into the first, much better game. There is absolutely no way both the first and third games are part of the same continuity.
The first game, he is CLEARLY a malicious villain. HE GOES TO KALLAK'S HOUSE AND TURNS HIM TO STONE. He's going around blowing up trees because he feels like it. He torments Brandon by taunting him throughout the quest. He brainwashes Herman into trying to kill Brandon with Brandon's grandfather's saw. And he CLEARLY stole the kyragem, as seen in the last part of the game. And he turns himself into stone WHEN HE'S TRYING TO KILL YOU! All of this means that the third game's Malcolm is completely different. If he didn't really kill the king, then why did he go on a mad power trip and steal the source of magic, and WHY DID THE FIRST GAME EVEN HAPPEN?
Not to mention the horrible inconsistency in his motivation in the third game, I mean, first he's trying to prove his innocence, then he wants to attack Kyrandia with a band of pirates, then he wants to save Kyrandia from those pirates? What?

Kerensky - The Wish Sandwich:
As a friend's father used to say, wish in one hand and shit in the other and see which one fills up faster. Sir your sandwich is objectively of less value than a shit sandwich.
Osterbaum - A delicious bible sandwich.
I guess I can say this is objectively not of less value than Kerensky's sandwich.
Si Cava - Homemade sandwich:
I have no grounds for gauging the value of this sandwich.
Overcast - Knuckle
42PETUNIAS - PB&J
I am highlighting these particular terrible fucking attempts to sell me on a goddamn sandwich. I mean, come on.
POS - A goddamn burger
See above. There are delicious fucking burgers in the world, but this just makes me think of all the shitty, McShitalds-quality burgers out there that make me want to hate a goddamn burger.
Krylo - Sex
This will generally be a pretty enjoyable sandwich, but as far as deliciousness goes there are really no guarantees at all with this kind of sandwich.
Numsie - Cheese, peppers, and sausage at Joe's Pizza:
Local sandwich place that everyone goes to sandwiches have at least an 85% chance of being delicious.
DBS - Meatball
Bookworm - Philly cheesesteak.
Still pretty spare on details but the thing here is I don't think I've ever had an undelicious one of either of these kinds of sandwich, basically anything competently executed attempt that can reasonably go by either of these names will be a pretty fucking good sandwich.
A delicious one that may give me the raging shits twenty minutes later, in the case of the Philly, but still, fucking delicious.
Greed - Thick slices of ham(or lots of thin sliced ham), sharp cheddar cheese and coleslaw.
Man you know what? Now we are starting to talk sandwich.
Ape Boy - Roast turkey, lettuce, tomato, swiss, mayo, and bacon on wheat.
I look at these ingredients and be like why not chuck the turkey and have a BLT? Or man if you had said cranberry sauce instead of bacon, you would totally be looking at a winner.
Rejected Again - Ice Cream sammich:
Just, you know what? Good fucking answer. Bonus points for 'sammich'.
The Wandering God - Roast beef with bacon, red onions, lettuce, tomato, honey mustard, and horseradish on a multi-grain batard. (I make this at the sandvich place I work at. It's so good,

I love some fucking honey mustard and horseradish and sandwich shop sandwiches that the employees make for themselves as a rule are like 95% better than any standard sandwich. My only issue here is with no statement on the quality of the roast beef I can't be assured of its deliciousness since I've honestly had some pretty lousy dry roast beef in my sandwiches and it has colored my overall impression of the meat. Still I've also had some amazing fucking juicy, tender, just-cut fresh and still red roast beef so this makes it near the top of this list of sandwiches.
krogothwolf - Genoa Hot Salami, Calabrese Hot Salami with insane country fair hot sauce, mayo, and Havarti cheese served on white bread.
This is a delicious-sounding sandwich. This is such a delicious sandwich that if I had been telling someone about it as I was looking at it I would have had to stop right there and go eat this fucking sandwich. This is a delicious-sounding sandwich.

Who tells me I oughta smile more. Who gambles and gets in deep with the sharks... Look at me! One day, they carve her face. And we have no money for surgeries. She can't take it. I just want to see her smile again, hmm? I just want her to know that I don't care about the scars. So... I stick a razor in my mouth and do this...to myself. And you know what? She can't stand the sight of me! She leaves. Now I see the funny side. Now I'm always smiling!"

Good evening, London. Allow me first to apologize. I do, like many of you, appreciate the comforts of the everyday routine. The security of the familiar, the tranquility of repetition. I enjoy them as much as any bloke. But in the spirit of commemoration whereby important events of the past usually associated with someone's death or the end of some awful, bloody struggle are celebrated with a nice holiday. I thought we could mark this November the 5th. A day that is, sadly, no longer remembered by taking some time out of our daily lives to sit down and have a little chat. There are, of course, those who do not want us to speak. Even now, orders are being shouted into telephones and men with guns will soon be on their way.
Why? Because while the truncheon may be used in lieu of conversation. Words will always retain their power. Words offer the means to meaning and, for those who will listen, the enunciation of truth. And the truth is there is something terribly wrong with this country, isn't there? Cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression. And where once you had the freedom to object to think and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of Surveillance coercing your conformity and soliciting submission. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Certainly there are those who are more responsible than others and they will be held accountable. But again, truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty you need only look into a mirror.
I know why you did it. I know you were afraid. Who wouldn't be? War, terror, disease. There were a myriad of problems which conspired to corrupt your reason and rob you of your common sense. Fear got the best of you and in your panic, you turned to the now High Chancellor Adam Sutler. He promised you order, he promised you peace and all he demanded in return was your silent, obedient consent. Last night, I sought to end that silence. Last night, I destroyed the Old Bailey to remind this country of what it has forgotten.
More than 400 years ago, a great citizen wished to imbed the 5th of November forever in our memory. His hope was to remind the world that fairness, justice and freedom are more than words. They are perspectives. So if you've seen nothing, if the crimes of this government remain unknown to you then I would suggest that you allow the 5th of November to pass unmarked. But if you see what I see if you feel as I feel, and if you would seek as I seek then I ask you to stand beside me, one year from tonight outside the gates of Parliament and together, we shall give them a 5th of November that shall never, ever be forgot. And I see a whole army of my countrymen here in defiance of tyranny. You have come to fight as free men, and free men you are. What would you do without freedom? Will you fight?
Aye, fight and you may die. Run and you'll live -- at least a while. And dying in your beds many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days from this day to that for one chance, just one chance to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they'll never take our freedom!!! From Princess Bride- there are some interjections by he is really just monologing.
Guess?....I don't guess. I think. I ponder. I deduce. Then I decide. But I never guess....It's all so simple....All I have to do is deduce, from what I know of you, the way your mind works. Are you the kind of man who would put the poison into his own glass, or into the glass of his enemy?...Now a great fool....would place the wine in his own goblet, because he would know that only another great fool would reach first for what he was given. I am clearly not a great fool, so I will clearly not reach for your wine....[But] you knew I was not a great fool, so you would know that I would never fall for such a trick. You would count on it. So I will clearly not reach for mine either....We have now decided that the poisoned cup is most likely in front of you. But the poison is powder made from iocane and iocane comes only from Australia and Australia, as everyone knows, is peopled with criminals and criminals are used to having people not trust them, as I don't trust you, which means I can clearly not choose the wine in front of you....But, again, you must have suspected I knew the origins of iocane, so you would have known I knew about the criminals and criminal behavior, and therefore I can clearly not choose the wine in front of me....You have beaten my Turk, which means you are exceptionally strong, and exceptionally strong men are convinced that they are too powerful ever to die, too powerful even for iocane poison, so you could have put it in your cup, trusting on your strength to save you; thus I can clearly not choose the wine in front of you....But you also bested my Spaniard, which means you must have studied, because he studied many years for his excellence, and if you can study, you are clearly more than simply strong; you are aware of how mortal we all are, and you do not wish to die, so you would have kept the poison as far from yourself as possible; therefore I can clearly not choose the wine in front of me....I have already learned everything from you....I know where the poison is....What in the world can that be?....I could have sworn I saw something, no matter....Let's drink....[I guessed wrong?] You only think I guessed wrong....I switched glasses when your back was turned....Fool!....You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is 'Never get involved in a land war in Asia,' but only slightly less well known is this: 'Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line.' It's okay ambiance, but there's nothing very phenomenal about his work, at least from the games I've played with him behind the score.
9: Seil - Gregson Williams
MGS 1 had all the good music, and he worked on every OTHER MGS game, which had only decent music.
8: Moogle - Nobou Uematsu
Everything I've heard by him, while having a good symphonic feel, isn't my cup of tea. I understand why people like his music a lot, but it doesn't really mesh with my taste very well.
7: Mr. Bookworm - Jonathon Coulton
He only composed one song for one game, and this hurts him a LOT. While Still Alive is an amazing song, a one-hit wonder isn't going to make him my favorite game composer. I do enjoy Code Monkey and his cover of Baby Got Back.
6: KrogothWolf - Toru Minegishi
I don't know for sure what parts of the Zelda games he worked on, but he wasn't the main force behind the music in those games, which was Koji Kondo. I'm sure he made some valid contributions though.
5: Ape Boy - Tommy Tallarico
He gets this spot for his work on Earthworm Jim, which had an amazing soundtrack with a wide genre of music. New Junk City is a very good song, and there's hardly a track from that soundtrack that I dislike. Unfortunately, his other works aren't as good. Honorable mention is Another World, which only had one song, but the ending theme was great.
4: TWG - Taro Bando
Now we're in the serious business. The F-Zero X soundtrack was hands down the best work of the F-Zero series, and the music alone makes F-Zero X superior to F-Zero GX. The guitar work is absolutely incredible! It's only in 4th because he focused too heavily on one instrument, and although it's a masterful guitar track, it's too focused.
3: Rejected Again - Kazuki Muraoka
The first Metal Gear Solid had an utterly amazing score. I have the soundtrack on my .mp3 player, and the Tank Hanger music is one of my all-time favorite pieces. The heavy percussion emphasis and sawtooth synthesizers and strings are extremely well put together, and it fits the atmosphere of the game perfectly.
2: Archbio - Koji Kondo
Koji is the best Japanese composer. His work on the Zelda series alone is enough to put him ahead of everyone else, but then he has to go and do the Mario series as well? He's a master at writing catchy tunes.
1: Hawk - Frank Klepacki
Command and Conquer's soundtrack is amazing enough, but then you find out he also did Kyrandia Book 1. I don't blame him for Kyrandia 3, that was the design team's fault. "Industrial" is one of my all-time favorite tracks from any game.
Hawk wins. Now that I think of it though, Greame Norgate would have been the instant winner for his work on Perfect Dark, Goldeneye, and the TimeSplitters series. Another strong contender (would have placed above Taro Bando) is Daisuke Ishiwatari, who does the music for Guilty Gear. He's as good as Taro for guitar, but he also knows how to place other instruments into the score.

Results time;
14)Fifthfiend - The ability to tell based on a cursory examination of a person's facial features whether or not they prefer grilled, ungrilled, or no onions on their sandwiches - If I worked in some sort of fast food establishment, then I could see the benefit of this power, however I dont, so I dont.
13)Si Civa - The superpower of being awesome - As awesome as that would be, I think actually having a tangible, less vague power would be significantly more awesome.
12)Archbio - To transform myself at will into an elephantaur. Which would grant me superhuman strenght, superhuman durability and the ability to sit wherever I want - Elephantaurs look lame. If you'd gone with a standard Minotaur you'd have ranked a little higher.
11)Masked Jedi - The ability to makes people's brains explode by break-dancing hard enough - Sounds like a lot of work just to make peoples heads explode. Would be pretty cool though.
10)Overcast - Quicksave - Undoubtedly useful, but less so without its counterpart power; Quickload.
8 & 9)Ape Boy & Krogowolf - Immortality and healing factor - Grouped together due to them both being fairly similar. Never really wanted to live for ever personally, and being able to heal really fast still means getting hurt, something I'd prefer to avoid. I'll pass thanks.
7)The Wandering God - Telepathy - Never really liked the idea of hearing peoples thoughts either. People are generally weird, the things they think should remain private. However...
6)42PETUNIAS - Mind control - I have less of a problem with controlling peoples thoughts, so long as I don't have to hear them. However, mind control would just be a little bit boring.
5)Mr.Bookworm - Flight - This would be pretty cool. Well, cooler than the others so far anyway, but on its own it doesn't really offer much else.
4)Smarty McBarrelpants - Invisibilty - The ultimate dick power. Man I could get away with so much shit and be an ass to everyone I ever disliked and never get caught. I don't think I could get bored easily with this.
3)Rejected Again - The power to shoot fucking lasers out of your eyes - But now we're getting to the real good shit. Who wouldn't wanna be able to make shit explode just by looking at it? The only thing better would be...
2)Krylo - Control of wind/weather - Because in my eyes, tornados --> lasers. And then you throw in calling down lightning strikes and all that other good shit and you can just act like goddamn Zeus! And Zeus is awesome.
1)Zilla - Time control - But nothing is quite as awesome as fucking with the very fabric of the universe itself. If I had this, man, I would slow that shit right down, and fuck with everything. You could do whatever you want before anyone else could even blink. That's badass enough, but then add actual time travel in there, and well, yeah, not much beats that.
Zilla wins. Of course, the two insta-wins would've been telekinesis and teleportation and I'm surprised nobody said those.

Hmm I thought quickload was a given, after all if you can access the ability to save the universe and reactivate it later then you ought to be able to all the time. And TK was my first choice, unfortunately I decided to doubt my first choice for once.

Fifthfiend
07-16-2009, 02:10 PM
I assume "manipulation" = travel plus stop/speedup/reversal/slowdown.
I totally should have thought of super-speed. If you are fast enough you can effectively mimic nearly any other power.
Years of reading Flash comics has taught me that throwing enough speed at a problem can solve absolutely anything.
The Artist Formerly Known as Hawk
07-16-2009, 02:41 PM
Except making things move without touching them. Seriously why would I want to bother moving at superspeed if I could just think shit to happen. And why bother moving at all if you can teleport??
Besides, only the Flash has that level of Power of Plot type superspeed, the same way only the Hulk has that level of Power of Plot type superstrength. So really you could say that throwing enough anything at a problem can solve it too. Throw enough TK and you can control all matter in the universe and re-write reality.

Krylo-Dragon Pink-...What?
Deanh-Fist of the North Star- Never took to time to watch this one, honestly.
TWG-Lupin the 3rd-Never got into this one honestly. I was conned(The threat of sex being cut off) into cos-playing Jigen and looked good at it.
Rokrin-Dragonbalol Z- Good anime looses many points for taking 50 episodes to get anything accomplished.
Archbio-Hellsing-The Ultimate Series is a auto win, Watch that if you haven't. I assume that you, however, are suggesting the original so you end up here.
Krogoth--Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam- I liked Gundam wing the best. This one was still awesome however.
Overcast-Azumanga Daioh-I watched this show and was in tears from laughing at many points.
Masked Jedi-FLCL-FOOLY COOLY! I absolutely loved all 6 episodes of FLCL, so random and so good.
Russian Reversal-Trigun-What can I say, its a classic that everyone should watch
Kerensky-Gurren Fucking Lagann-No explanation needed. Its just full of awesome.
Fifthfiend-Spirited Away-Hayao Miyazaki is one of my favorite animators of all time. Princess Mononoke is one of few that could have ousted...
CelesJessa-FMA-Not many Anime have grabbed me like FMA has. By far one of the best ever. The Story is very well done, the take on alchemy is interesting, and the bond between Ed and Al makes me smile. Take it away CJ.
Auto wins were Ruroni Kenshin, Hellsing Ultimate, and Peacemaker. Nerima Daikon Brothers, MAY have beaten FMA depending on the mood I was in at the time.

Through the power of cheating, I was suggesting whichever series that (http://forum.nuklearpower.com/showpost.php?p=943878&postcount=1635) is, since that was the basis for my pick. I have no idea how "ultimate" or "original" it is, though.

5. Pandaikon (rejected again) - I'm not much for the "cute fuzzy creature" esque design. Just doesn't do much with my imagination.
4. Deadpool (krogoth) - I'm not a big superhero fan, but Deadpool is one of the cooler ones, I understand. Design-wise he's pretty cool, but I'm not a huge fan of the whole-body-covering-spandex-suit design.
3. Naked Snake (Seil) - I quite like this design. Snake costumes need more shirtlessness.
2. Frollo (Barrelpants) - He's a pretty cool villain design. He always gave me the creeps anyway.
1. Edward Elric (Zilla) - Somehow I was hoping not to pick something FMA related for 1st place, but, alas, as much as I thought about it, I really love Edward's automail design. I just think it's really cool.
So go for it Zilla. From now on I'm going to say no guessing anything FMA related for my categories. :sweatdrop
