The new trailer features the return of the suave translator voice (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZNlKJ5zy00). It contains spoilers for a returning boss battle.
It's out on the 26th. I wish I had the money to buy it. :( I'm gonna have to sell another kidney for this.
I really like the look of New Destroyman. The game looks kinda trippy, and that's always a good thing in my book.
Also, does this mean we can watch Pure White Lover Bizarre Jelly episodes on Travis' TV, because that would pretty much be the best thing.

You mean you can sell your kidney? For money?

I liked the Cloud-esque guy, I look forward to chopping him up.

So now we get to wonder about that five. I guess two more girls join in the second season. They hardly matter, though, as I'll probably just have Travis in a Cranberry shirt again.

I was looking up stuff on the "show", and it sounds like there are two other characters. The cute boy love interest or whatever, and someone who sounds like a rival, so that's probably where the five comes from.

I really wish I hadnt watched that...
Toyed around with the first battle just a tad earlier. Didn't complete it, cuz I'm gonna go back to it when my family is sleeping so I don't offend anybody. Combat is VASTLY improved. Non-sword attacks are actually effective, you can swing the wiimote for a cool running slash thing, and it just works loads better.
Story looks a lot more serious but still maintains a lot of the humor. "When you join your brother in Hell, tell him I still think he's a douche!" Main focus of tonight will probably be to unlock the Bizarre Jelly 5 episode and then see where I can go from there.
Game is really pretty. It's still a Wii game, obviously, but it looks a lot nicer than the first game.
Also, I'm pretty sure that the narrator at the beginning is the Colonel from MGS, which is just hilarious.

I won't get my copy until, like, the first week of February because I didn't pay $5 for shipping. My cheapness knows no bounds. Try to still like the game by the time I get it, ok?
Just beat the game. Most everything in the game is a vast improvement.
Shinobu's part had some wonky platforming but it was still a good way to break up the flow of the normal combat.
Henry's part was awesome even if it didn't make any sense.
The end boss and the ending to the game can fuck themselves with a spiky steel dildo. Seriously, what the fuck happened. Did Suda just get to write the last five seconds, and someone else was in charge of the rest of the ending? It feels like I'm missing the True Ending like how you had to get all the swords in the first one to get the True Ending, but... there isn't an alt ending. This is it. Just... FUCK.
Still a great game though, even though the end makes me want to punch Suda 51 dead.
BEST SONG IN THE WHOLE DAMN GAME (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XpRoTTaJBpY&fmt=18)

So, am I supposed to get anything from 1CCing BJ5 on Hard? 'Cause it seems like kind of a let down that I got something from beating Normal without continues, but nothing from beating Hard without continues. Should I try beating it without dying even once?
Also, I feel a bit sad that I managed this with Blueberry and not Cranberry. Their shot-types are almost identical.

It's the best third party game the Wii has.
Albeit that's not saying much.

No. The ending to the first game was a fun back and forth between subverting tropes one moment only to play the same trope straightfaced a moment later.
The final boss of this game feels ripped straight from the Batman comics of old, full of ridiculous enemies and even dumber schemes. The fight goes from meh to infuriating and then to boring. The camera also decides to fuck itself here.
The ending just happens. Nothing is really resolved, and after that disappointing boss fight you find yourself asking "WHAT WAS THE POINT?!" This might be a pretentious commentary on revenge, or maybe one on sequels, but I really don't want to give Suda that much credit, and either way it's still terrible from a design standpoint.
You get something after the credits that is part of a long-running cutaway the game does to foreshadow boss fights, and it feels very much more Suda-esque, but you aren't given any proper context for it, so it fails to redeem anything. It's hardly game ruining, but that it's the last thing you experience before walking away from the TV, it is much more frustrating than it would be were something similar crammed into the middle of the game.

I have to agree that the game was definitely awesome until the last moments. I half expected there to be another battle until the credits started rolling. And even AFTER the credits, there isn't really anything that can compare to Travis getting attacked on the can (or any of the stuff with Henry). Closest thing that comes to that is Travis getting dumped off of Sylvia's bike in front of the motel for no good reason. If it had just ended there I would have laughed more, but it didn't. And that's just sad.
But, ending woes aside, the game grabbed my attention almost immediately and had me playing for a whole day. Combat was fun, visuals were slick (for what it is), and the presentation was... well, it's No More Heroes. If you were a fan of the first game, you'll love the second one right up to the ending. And then the ending is... well, yeah.

I'm listening to Margaret's song right now, and I am sad.
Also, someone want to cheer me on to beating Bitter? I had enough trouble beating most of the bosses with a health power-up.
