The "win density" in that Kotaku report has reached critical levels, and may very well collapse in on itself.

Ummm.... this can't be anything but a poorly done fake. Seriously. I don't think they're gonna re-use sprites from the GBA and DS games.

And even so, if this simply an extended version of the multiplayer mode from Portrait of Ruin then it's going to be pretty forgettable sadly.

Pretty sure you can't fix it yourself; that's why I'm gonna try to fix it for you.

Huh, now I'm less certain this game exists, because I'm certain Konami doesn't use Photoshop in game design.

Seriously, the not-seen-before graphics look so shopped it hurts.

One that borrows its visuals from the numerous Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS Castlevanias.
The screenshots that were linked above are probably faked, but it's highly probably it'll just included higher res versions of the portable graphics. Maybe Konami had to lower the resolution on the stuff and they had higher res artwork and decided to cash in on it?

Six player 2d Castlevania would be overkill though.

EDIT: now that I look at the screenshots a little more closely, there are somethings that might make it true. First of all the HD doesn't come from the artwork, but actually that it uses the low res artwork to show much more on the screen to fill the higher resolution. They got lazy, tried it out, saw that it was too much shown for one player, thus made it multiplayer. Meh, it's an arcade title, so I wouldnt expect much, but man this looks lazy.
