Linkage (http://arstechnica.com/gaming/news/2010/05/littlebigplanet-2-reveal-create-your-own-games-sagas.ars)
So yeah, this time you can create entire games by linking different levels together and aren't merely restricted to a 2.5D perspective. Certainly some crazy stuff going on in the trailer, can scarcely imagine what a world full of gamers will come up with later.
It does occur to me at this point though that the development team are basically coping out and out-sourcing all their games material to the players instead. How long is it until someone just makes people pay for a copy of the Source or Unreal engine and told to just make their own games instead?
Still I guess this looks mildly interesting, though the fact that I was unable to make even a single level in the first game means I probably won't be picking this one up.
EDIT; Goddamnit, I didn't realise someone beat me to it. Mods feel free to delete or whatever.
