Dystopia. It's a Half-Life 2 mod, and aside from the elitists, is a really fun game.

Fallout3 and Oblivion... well, it'd be safer to assume you already have them, but there are always those people...
Better Bodies and Better Heads. (Or whatever variation thereof.)

Ironically I am looking for Oblivion mods now too. Damn 66% off.

L4D2 would be nifty too, though I'm still trying to Gold every survival map.

For Fallout and Oblivion I use http://www.tesnexus.com/ and http://www.fallout3nexus.com/. Yes they have the adult mods, but you don't have to click on them if you don't want to and they are labeled.

Right, but for Oblivion they have something like 22,000 files on hand. I'm looking for mods that are personally endorsed by the fine members of the Nuklear Fora Community.

For Fallout 3 I'd likely suggest Cube Expirimental (http://www.moddb.com/mods/cube-experimental) a damn interesting little item that has ties to the Cube series of horror movies making the expirience a tad better(particularly the unfairness early on) but it is more than strong enough on its own.

Personally I'd like to see a Fallout 3 mod that changes the camera angle to a useful bird's eye view and enforces turn based combat. Lacking which, I just keep playing Fallout 2.

I could recommend you some mods for that if you're into it. Not much else to contribute. :I

For Oblivion, I recommend:

Enhanced Hand-to-Hand (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2329) - improves H2H calculations to make it a viable option
Claws and Monk Gear (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5432) - adds H2H weaponry, has a couple known issues, nothing major from my experience
Alive Waters (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6914) - adds several types of fish and fish meat, as well as aquatic plants
Any variation of CM Partners - lets you take along NPC partners or even animal pets (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=18012&navtag=file/images.php?id=18012&tab=3)
Ring of Wings - puts flight back into the game.

Original version (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=7094) (I have used this and can vouch for its stability)
Updated version (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16875) (based on the original, likely just as stable)
Version 3 (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=23570) (not by the original author, has known collision issues)

Needs OBSE, don't try to fly over walls or the game becomes unstable, flying indoors may make you clip to outside the building and into a black nexus.
Advanced Water Modification (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2734) - remember the dark, opaque water? This fixes that and is nearly photo-realistic.

Edit: Apparently, there are also other options for companions. This one (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5996) apparently is based on a different engine with better stability than CM, but only allows you to use one companion.

As a note, CM isn't necessarily "unstable" so much as "resource-heavy." General rule of thumb for a good computer is no more than eight companions before the game crashes, with instability starting at five or so, IIRC. If you stay with a reasonable number, you should be fine.

Weren't you all exactly the opposite when Fallout 3 was coming out? Because I remember being like "Fallout 3 might be a good game but it's not going to be even close to a Fallout game let alone a good one" and I remember someone who I'm pretty sure was you being like "Turn based gameplay and isometric view don't matter to me so they don't matter."

Yes, it was you I'm sure of it.

Yeah, it wouldn't matter in a good game. Also I felt the need to distance myself from the NMA crowd who wished painful terminal cancer on the collective Bethesda for having the gall to make a Fallout game. But since I didn't like Fallout 3 I'm more interested in a nostalgia trip.

For Oblivion I have:
Cobl
Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul
Better Cities
Cyrodil Upgrade Resource
Kvatch Rebuilt- thinking of moving to the Kvatch Aftermath
Supreme Magika
Deadly Reflex
The Elder Council
Zira's Medieval Horses
Akatosh Mount- Must have.

For Fallout:
CALIBR
FOOK2
ZL-ACR
Enclave Airship
BlackWolf Backpack
MiniHideout
Heroes Mod- not finished but you might find it interesting
Real Time Settler

Edit: Take into consideration that I have a habit of randomly hunting for mods for these two and have random urges to play them.

Found some really nice stuff looking for a couple mods I'd found and lost.

TreeHouse (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=31482) - looks like a nice getaway and has respawning chests, plus storage chests, all marked. Place is huge and even has a "hidden" platform, of which there is no image provided, making me all the more intrigued.
Imperial Tree House (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15389) - a modest unit with a huge pond and waterfall, plus floating rocks and flowers as a glitch. Interesting, though, and highly endorsed. I guess it has its own special ambiance.
Sunrise home in Anvil tree house (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=12328) - a house in a tree in Anvil's square. No clutter, but a lot of work went into it.
MM_Treehouse_v2 (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=24523) - an update of one of the ones I was looking for, bigger and better than the original! Big, friendly, and incredibly well-done.
Ship in a Tree (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=16673) - one of the more unique tree houses, this uses a boat as a base and has a couple NPCs to offer you their services.
Star Ship Orion (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10020) - the crown jewel of all home mods. The place is visible from the ground, offers you your own personal staff, is populated with 70 NPCs as crew, and offers, well, damn near everything you could ever want and more. This thing seriously won awards. DOWNLOAD IT! (http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10020)

Don't you try to justify this you flip flopper.

I cant help it if the game sucked. I just want to justify my purchase and using the disc as a coaster seems a bit desperate. :(

Sadly, I own exactly NONE of those games. :(

However, I do know of a fun L4D mod, if only because I find it hilarious and mortifying all at once: The Randy Savage mod. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TuJrrN01SMM) It replaces all the sound files for the zombies with voice clips of "Macho Man" Randy Savage (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Randy_Savage). Also, apparently this works on L4D2 as well, so hey double the fun!

Half Life 2 Substance: It's sorta a Crysis take on Half Life 2, with different "HEV" modes based on Metal Gear characters that you can swap on the fly, with special and sometimes gamebreaking abilities, as well as adds bullet time. To balance the game, the game's been made HELLA HARD, with extra and new enemies, and European Extreme mode that causes you to only regain health by killing enemies, while removing all healthpacks.

I remember seeing a similar mod on G4 a while back for Half Life 2 where all sounds were replaced by one dude vocalizing them; so for example, instead of the normal sound of a gun going off it's replaced by a guy saying "bang."
