So apparently these two girls were at E3, wearing T-shirts that were advertising their website. The premise of the website is you join, pay them a monthly fee and you get to have a 'PlayDate' (See Playmate from Playboy) and that 'PlayDate' has a webcam so you can play a videogame online with them and watch them while you do.

Now you may think 'Oh this is just a harmless website for people to find new friends online' but if that's the case, why do you only have two options for what kind of 'PlayDate' you're looking for? You either select Flirty, or Naughty.

And all 'PlayDates' are required to have their own webcam and microphone.

Seriously, to me, this sounds like just another webcam sex show website with a false pretense of being a way for you to meet girls to play videogames with.

So it's basically video chat with Video Games...

It'll be a smash hit in within months at the most.

Yeah, well, it all depends on how far the girls are actually going to go. I imagine if they don't do anything but play the game with you, it won't go too far.

And if they do what I think they'll do, no one will be playing any actual video games!

Insert joystick joke here.

I see one of two things happening.

Outcome A. The chicks whip their tits out and give the lonely gamers their cam show (probably after about 10 or so minutes of game time). The website makes tons of money.

Outcome B. The girls do nothing but tease and play video games, the nerds get angry and blue balls. The website shuts down within a year.

Mention naughty which I guess is just a strip tease while playing games accompanied by occasional flirting.

I'm actually guessing that in practice, GamerCrush will actually accommodate women who cater to both Outcome A and Outcome B.

The difference between "Naughty" and "Flirty" may seem suggestive at first glance but I'm guessing regular GamerCrush veterans will eventually perceive an artificial, manufactured distinction between the two: the girls who are willing to essentially strip for the camera will classify themselves under the "Naughty" option, and the girls who aren't (or perhaps more accurately, won't always) will classify themselves as merely "Flirty." I imagine the "Flirty" girls (who succeed despite offering the men less) will tend to be more attractive.

That's if the website makes it that far. So far they seem to only have two girls who are their 'poster children' and neither are terribly good looking.

GamerCrush: Games you can beat with one hand while beating it with the other?

I heard about something like this a while ago. I'll just say that this is a really terrible idea but hey, it's the internet, it's full of terrible ideas so this whole thing doesn't really surprise me. I don't see this lasting too long though; much like the men it's catering too, it'll all be over in about 5 minutes.

Gamecrush debuted several months ago, and their servers crashed the first day due to high demand.

what I hate is the principle this idea is based on. That gamers are all lonely teenage boys. That the only way to play a game with a girl is to pay them, like its some sort of insanely rare thing. True alot of girls hide the fact they are to keep guys from hitting on them. But they are very common, I know tons of girls that game.

Its like those people that still pay for porn sites not realizing they can get the stuff for free

Note: this is for legitimately meeting gamer girls. But then again if its for her getting her tits out, as I said earlier, you can get porn for free

Guys... guys guys!!! This is a freaking gold mine! We should start a Service where girls pay us to watch while they play and give compliments like "Wow, you nearly made that jump! That's ok Honey, you should try again... you are getting so good at this!" and "Your hair looks very nice today, princess peach beware!!"

It's a goldmine!!!

I haven't looked at GamerCrush recently, but back when there was all that hype about it in the first place I took a glance and it said something about having male models for female clients as well.

Speaking of, if it's back up maybe I should toss in an application...

While I highly doubt this would work, we could probably make tons of money hiring us out to lonely women to do stuff like, say, attend the Twilight movies (and feign we're their boyfriends so they don't have to attend alone) or go shopping with them and loudly compliment their appearances in front of crowds as they try on new clothing at various outlet stores.

I mean those would be agonizing experiences, but in this economy, can we really complain?

Damn. I'd better get back into my Wii-fit work out schedule so I can get a job there!

I really don't see this going anywhere. It just looks sad. But that could just be that I prefer to actually meet girls that play video games as opposed to just finding them online.
