So I recently picked up the core rulebook for the miniature combat game Warmachine, produced by Privateer Press. First off let me get this off my chest.

Motherfuckers learn to write a fucking rule book, I mean fuck. It rambles on into incoherence from word one. Its like they've skillfully hidden all the important rules between the folds of gelatinous goop that pass for clarification to these clowns, while tossing any semblance of logical flow or coherency into the thrice-damned winds of a demon sun.

But other than the hamfisted presentation of the rule system, I'm somewhat intrigued by the pared down combat system and less forgiving feel. I've mainly dabbled in larger scale miniature warfare games over the years such as Warhammer and Warhammer 40k so the small skirmish emphasis is a nice change of pace.

So have any of you had any experience with the game or any desire to play?

I have a Khador army, and love it. the books are written pretty badly though, they try to give it some 90's ATTITUDE
