So I got Civilization 5 like everyone said

and wow is it riddled with bugs. Just got it yesturday and got 3 error messages and one crash, often enemies wouldnt attack and just run around enemies, refused to seige, or wouldn't aknowledge a "build route to" command.

Its certainly a fun game, wish I knew how to divert gold to research (assuming I can) but it would be a lot better if not for all these bugs. Dont think I've ever played a game in such dire need of a patch

Apparentely runnning it in windowed mode helps a lot. There is an update but only on steam at the moment.

well you HAVE to have steam to run it, so shouldn't it auto-download the update? Hadn't noticed it doing so, so far

[edit] oh and I cant figure out how to just go to next turn without cycling through all my units not on stand-by

Well I don't know how Steam works cause I not use it but guy in my office who has Civ 5 said there is update availble on steam which fixes most of the problem.

Totally the best way to win Emperor difficulty is to wall your main cities off somewhere and cower and hide till the comptuer murders itself.
E: Also build an eiffel tower and just fire random nukes to keep computer on its toes.

Well, you kind of expect the guy standing in front of a sacrificial fire to be a dick.
Ghandi just comes out of left field with it at times.

I always think of it as young Ghandi who was kind of a dick. Like he was hilariously racist to Africans and likened them to animals to stuff and during like WW1 he was totally down with trench warfare and just conscripting Indians to go get thrown into machine guns.
