I was very underwhelmed with the original trailer, and I will maintain that the sprite work from the original games is vastly superior. However, this looks like Golden Sun, and I sure as hell want more Golden Sun.

Fucking hell November 29th is so far away. :(

I've been super excited for this ever since I found out it was a real thing, though I agree that the spritework was better in the original. I love that the music, while new, is very clearly the same sort of stuff from the original. I got nostalgia'd.

Watched someone play Golden Sun for a few hours one time. They pushed logs around the desert for a few hours then fought a two-headed doom dragon (which took forever). I'll have to keep this game in mind and tell them.

I beat the first game and made it about halfway through the second, I got stuck though and put it down and have found it impossible to pick back up. I sure as heck am not going to input that long-ass code again so I dunno if I'll just go ahead and restart it without carrying over the info just to beat it so I can play this one...

Is beating the second one particularly needed to play this one? What do you think? I know the whole twist of the second one was Isaac and crew were actually doing the wrong thing in fighting Menardi and the other one, the fire people, and trying to stop Felix and crew, eventually team up to relight lighthouses which are required to keep world from being destroyed, and/or fight Alex. Anything else I should know to play this sequel, do ya think?

EDIT: And yeah the beard is pretty manly.
