Ok... The gameplay is reminiscent of Smash TV, but damned if I'm not going to pick this one up when it comes out in 2011.
Rogue Survivor (http://roguesurvivor.blogspot.com/p/download.html)
Can't stop playing... as zombie!
Nice game, but it's already out so...
Guild Wars 2 (http://www.google.com/#hl=en&expIds=17259,18168&sugexp=ldymls&xhr=t&q=guild+wars+2+release+date&cp=12&qe=Z3VpbGQgd2FycyAyIHJlbGVhc2UgZGF0ZQ&qesig=1jW1hVrGca80es7NXY50Mw&pkc=AFgZ2tkjU-rbWtWtIa5a687gCgOz47hSKDVQRHFh5aWalWRGlmJtb6awKp6R JsTDNzCk8RebIE110gZOGAdjt25Msb-70P0Scg&pf=p&sclient=psy&aq=0&aqi=&aql=&oq=guild+wars+2+release+date&gs_rfai=&pbx=1&fp=ca05a7bb65e82229)
Do I need to say much about this one? Although I would still have to play the first some time soon because I didn't know a lot of people around here play.
Carpe Fulgar's newest (http://www.destructoid.com/recettear-sold-100k-carpe-fulgur-reveals-next-game-190672.phtml)
Yes, I seriously need that game to come out tomorrow, STAT!
Well, that's my list of current games. Anyone looking forward to something?

Little Big Planet 2, Dead Space 2, and KillZone 3 are the ones off the top of my head (that haven't already been named).

Portal 2, Natural Selection 2, and Dungeons are at the top of my list. Dungeons is more tentatively there, since there's the chance it will just be a disappointment.

Looking forward to:
Portal 2
Catherine
Disgaea 4
Iffy games:
Dissidia 2
Phantom Brave PSP
3rd Birthday (I was extremely excited at the idea of a Parasite Eve 3. Then I saw the gameplay and realized there was a reason it isn't called Parasite Eve 3.)

You mean that they increase the fanservice to DOA: Volleyball levels of ridiculousness? Or because Aya has amnesia and a different personality? Or because there's supposedly an ability to possess people? Or because there's time travel?
There are reasons I fucking hate Motomu Toriyama, and 3rd Birthday simply adds to them.

On the Wii this time around i'm just looking forward to The Last Story, Monado and ReginleivI'd be looking forward to The Last Story, but there probably won't be an English release this year (or ever) and I haven't hacked my Wii to play Japanese games.
So, I'm really not looking forward to anything. I guess I'll buy Zelda out of obligation, unless it really sucks.

I'm worried that I won't be able to run Achron or Dungeons on my crappy pc though.

Supposedly?
Dude, Aya is Zapping from body to body like crazy. Actually, if i understand it correctly, she is not "possessing" people, more like she is actually Possessing-Metaphorming into people... also pay attention to the effect when she changes weapons. It actually seems like she creates them out of matter and energy.
Also, if you weaken bosses you can posses them to make them Explode and some other stuff

PS: EDIT: Such power is actually story related as it is even the main focus of the opening for the game

Space Marine.
This is a game title or a generic convention of a game type...?
because if it is an FPS, you are talking about 70% of all Shooters released in 2010 and probably 80% of all that will come in 2011... that's... a lot of Space Marines....

My excuses for this are:
1- I own a Wii and recently got a PSP
2- My current PC Can Play Half Life 2 on Minimum with some FPS drops
3- I've never played a single anything related to Warhammer
4- Space Marines is kinda of a Dumb title but i can see why they choose it.
Also that game trailer Screaaams of Dynasty Warriors In Space with a not-subtle hint of Gears of War, so i think it will probably sell quite nicely

Wait so, the Parasite Eve protagonist basically has the power of the Agents from the Matrix, but she keeps the damage done to her previous body? What's the point of that? Who molds a body into a copy of their own including the injuries? Defeats the point of grabbing a new one, except in very specific instances, like when she was grabbed by the tentacle thing?
Jagos

Yeah, it's established that the creators vied away from the author's books of Parasite Eve and opted to turn her into a mix of Lara Croft, Samus, and Mega Man.

I recently learned about RIFT (http://www.riftgame.com/en/), an MMO that is in closed beta and trying some slightly new things. For one: customizable ability sets based on 4 archetypes and 6 or 8 classes per archetype; you can choose one class per archetype and 3 archetypes total to build your own personal "spec" (these customizable classes have existed in the past, notably SWG pre-NGE, but we'll see if they pull it off). There are also "rifts" which are like open-world PvE events that you fight. I'm not sure what their gameplay role is, whether they are the top end of PvE content in the game, but they are supposed to drastically change the zone and they are even each their own faction: the rift-army from one faction with actually fight another NPC faction, if they meet, for control of the area.
I'm slightly worried that the premise won't live in the face of the hardcore MMO gaming crowd, given how difficult it will be to balance entirely hybrid ability sets, or whether rifts will be a good source of content. Only time will tell with success.

RIFT
I've been invited to their current beta. I haven't seen a rift yet, maybe because I'm at a low level area or something, but currently, what I can say is that some classes, even though they're "recommended" as mixing well, have dumb things. Like Champion + Paragon, which is recommended, even though Champion is good for 2h weapons and Paragon specializes in dual weapons. Overall, though, it feels similar to WoW - the melee rogues are all derivations of a WoW rogue, for example. Think of it as WoW, in a different world, with classes a bit changed.

Four pages and no Child of Eden? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuYWLYjOa_0)
Also, Sorcery (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llAI7lNd6OQ) looks like it'll be good, in an all-ages kind of way.
What I think would make me die and go to Heaven, though, is if TES: Skyrim was Move-compatible. I'm sure they could find a way to bring it to the 360, too. With a controller.
I kid. All told, it probably would be one of the few real games that could survive on the Kinect. Okay, maybe, say, turning your character might be a bit hard, but, I dunno, assign some sort of gesture to turn the camera and third-person mode might actually be halfway workable. Things like shooters are too run-and-gun for that kind of thing to work well, but TES is for the most part based on small battles that don't last long.
Quite frankly, if it came out for motion controls, I'd seriously say that might make it worth getting the console release over the PC one for mods. Of course, that might just be my bias, since this computer would melt just trying to read the CD. >_>;

Various games already mentioned, and that one Sonic game of questionable existence that doesn't suck (maybe something along the lines of the 360/PS3 Sonic the Hedgehog, but with better graphics, controls, gameplay, etc.).
I might rent Resistance 3 when it comes out, since I have doubts about how well the series will continue.
Possibly that new Dragon Age thingy that comes out in a few weeks.

Yeah, I was browsing a build calculator and I noticed that the text formatting on a lot of abilities, or they way they are phrased, is very similar to WoW. Even if it's derivative, that's not a huge deal breaker for me since it's enough that I just have a new world to play in and learn. WoW's mechanics are, I think, very polished, it's just the grind that gets to you - even if you have a competent group that can handle everything short of the hardest hard stuff (and even that would just be more grinding: X hours spent simply learning the encounter like the back of your hand).
Plus RIFT has Bards. I have been wanting a bard class ever since I stopped playing EQ. It's probably not going to be anything like playing a bard, but who knows. With the mixed class powers you just might be able to go for a buffer/dual wield melee/crowd control.
Has anyone said Ghost Trick? Buy Ghost Trick you fucks.
