I was excited about Agito XIII. Now I'm excited that Type-0 seems to be FF+Mecha+Valkyria Chronicles.

Meaning a return to the ATB, X, or X-2s system? I haven't played 13 yet, but from what I can tell the system looks.... like kotor's awkward teen years.

I think the best explanation I can give about 13's system is that it's an ATB, except you can do multiple commands when the bar charges and you can cancel midway through the commands to do other things - but they only start happening when the bar is full. It's weird as fuck.

FF Agito XIII is now FF Type-0:

Apparently, it didn't have enough to do with XIII to keep the old name and they're now going to try to spin it off into its own series.

Apparently, a trailer was shown with Lightning in armor fighting a man with purple hair. We also have a logo.

And, no, actually. Pics surfacing show Lightning in black and silver armor. From the things people said about the trailer, she was seen fighting a man with purple hair. For now it sounds like it'll be Lightning-only, given that Episode i left her running off from everyone else for some reason.

To be honest, I was really hoping for Serah and Dazh to replace Vanille and Fang. You know, some time after the end of XIII so Dajh would be at least in his pre-teens. He could totally ride into battle on his chocobo and wield double swords or something. Mounted cavalry is something the series is sorely lacking.

Technically, no, only two with this announcement, plus two novellas for a prequel and to address what happened after the end. The others were set to take place in the same universe, but not the same world. At this point, Versus is going to retain that, while Agito apparently isn't.

Put simply, the info coming out points to everything being totally great from this point forward. XIII-2 is going to get an improved battle system, Versus XIII and Type-0 look as great as they ever did, and Dissidia 012 seems to be coming along swimmingly.

First of all.... Lightining looks Hot. and that LITTLE bit of rock music right there caught me...

I came here willing to hate the game, but now i ca'nt even hate the playah

Also, Versus XIII looks compeling. Actually, it looks like a Unholly breed between Dissidia and Kingdom Hearts (which are already quite mushed together in playstyle)
