It can play for like, 1,800 points and I swear it looks like it's over a foot tall.
Is it weird that I'm almost convincing myself to get a single heroclix for well over a hundred dollars when I can't convince myself to get Panzer Dragoon Saga for well over two hundred?

Isn't Heroclix hugely overpriced for an overly simplistic Tabletop game that is just an excuse to collect Little Figures?

Yes but Isn't Pokemon a hugely overpriced for a simplistic RPG game that is just a excuse to collect "little" monsters?

..really, was that some kind of defense of whatever this is? pocket monstersololol
Is that picture actually what it is? It looks cheap. And like the kind of thing you could buy for ~30 bucks if it was just a "figurine" and not some kind of game piece.

I'm not sure about that. Have you checked the prices of those statues in a comic shop lately? It's a hundred bucks for a little death statue, nearly two hundred for a she hulk about that size... I can't seem to find one under sixty that isn't a Dr. Horrible one half that size or more (35ish) ..
Although I do admit it would be considerably cheaper if it wasn't an out of print convention special from like four years ago. Like, 60-80 bucks is how much it would probably go for, like the Dr. Manhattan one which you can get in normal stores atm.

I've seen someone with one at my locals one day.
I think I've seen several of these that day. XD An event maybe, might have been a sale.

People still play Heroclix? I remember people playing that when I was still in school...
It's dead in my area, along with Mage Knight or whatever it's called. I hear they still do events in Chicago or St. Louis though.

Nah, it's totally got prestige value. I mean, the game is clearly the better deal (Panzer Dragoon Saga IS a game, right?) and will do more for you, but it's definitely not weird to want to just like slap down Galactus and give everyone else penis envy. The game is probably the smarter choice, but there is definitely some satisfaction to showing up for a horse race in an F1 racing car.

Yeah, I used to play Mage Knight, and I had some of those bigass dragons. I don't think I ever got to use them though, since the game didn't really last all that long, unfortunately. It was fun, though.

Doesn't it cost about as much as every other stupid videogame?
