So they are letting us choose which design to go for with megaman trigger.

Personally I like C cause it feels so new, slim, and fast. Plus you gotta admit, the gloves are pretty cool.

What shell you guys pick?

Design A is clearly right, design C is clearly weird looking.

I think Design C looks a little too naked. I dig the gloves for Type A, but in the end I voted for Style B because it's like Outfit C if it wasn't naked. Costume B all the way.

C is very close to "human with armor", B just has a weird Color scheme for me... A looks decent but C does have some appeal.

I wouldn't mind C being picked, but A still looks more like a robot

B for the win. I like the extra touches, and the purplish bit just seem off model or something, like he was looking for spare parts and didn't have any the right color.

Voted C. Rock is, ultimately, an organic being, and I think C does the most to highlight that. Plus, the older designs were made to compensate for PS1 hardware limitations. The days of hardware limiting graphics are essentially over, with even the Wii getting an HD successor. C looks the most natural when you consider what it'll be running on. The other two would just look rather cheap and simplistic.

My problem with C is that it makes his proportions look terribly off, in a hugely exaggerated way.

Granted, it's likely going to win. The people who don't like the look of C will probably be split between A and B, so C will have the unified front.

I'd actually probably vote B, if I could revote.

I wrote a thing about Megaman Legends 3 (http://gamerlive.tv/article/megaman-legends-3-prototype-version-gives-early-taste-upcoming-action-game)

It includes a trailer for the upcoming Prototype Version Capcom is releasing, and a bunch of screenshots. Two new characters seem to be Barrett and Aero. At least, I assume Aero's a new character. I haven't played the other games. The game's looking pretty good.

Also, the more I see of Megaman Legends 3, the more excited I am. I think I'm going to finally try out the first two games during my spare time. Any chance they're on PSN?

No Sony block them from PSN. Why well... who knows why. And the US release of the PSP ports were blocked too.

This is going to sound bad, but I take back pretty much everything I said about the newer hardware thing since it's on the 3DS, which would be just fine if not better with the more simplistic designs. Also, it pretty much killed my interest. I have enough eye problems without adding 3D to the mix and I already have a $300 console with my PS3, so shelling out $250 for a handheld that's guaranteed to give me catastrophic headaches every time I use it isn't all that appealing.

I really don't see why everyone says that the 3D is such a big deal on the 3DS keeping them from buying it. The argument that's always next brought up is, "Well, I don't want the major selling point to be turned off", to which I respond, "It's a major selling point that you just said that you didn't want at all, and have the option to get rid of, and are complaining about the existence of."

(Nothing at you, Blue, just meant this in general. I totally see not wanting to spend $250. I haven't gotten one either. :P )

This. The 3D isn't the selling point. It never was and never should be. It's a feature that is certainly interesting, but the selling point of any console is the games you can play on it. Don't not get a 3DS because you don't like the 3D. If you aren't going to get it, get it because the games don't interest you, or it costs too much, or something like that. Else it comes off as saying you won't get a PS3 because of the Move. (Not a 100% accurate analogy, but I think it conveys the point)
