I first found out about this when Zetaplays favorited one of the dev's LPs for this. At first I thought "Awesome, it's a 2D minecraft with more combat.", but it's actually awesome in it's own way. Everything about it is generally awesome and as PaperBatVG (the only guy they've given the game to LP so far) says, it does seem to appeal in the many aspects that minecraft doesn't. Apparently the game is ready and will be released once the release preparations are ready.
I recommend at least watching the dev's LP, then if you aren't satisfied they have another person's LP in their playlist. Also episode 23 of PaperBat's LP has the Terraria public relations guy answering more questions about the game.
I am going to try to buy this the day it comes out and I hope you guys think about doing that too.

McTahr edit, 'cause I'ma do what Krylo said:

1) Get LogMeIn Hamachi.
2) Complain about having to get LogMeIn Hamachi.
3) Connect to the network NPF Bits with the password FPN.
4) Open up Terraria and connect to the IP listed for grabblenab.
5) Enter password FPN.

Yeah, the guys made a smart move by letting some of the well-known LP guys take an early crack at it. I'm also somewhat amazed at how quickly they gained hype. I think Blue said something about how on the day they released the trailer there were like 5 fan forums and a wiki about the game.

Couldn't they have at least made their own sprites instead of just recoloring Butz? That's some really lazy stuff right there.

It still looks pretty cool, mind you. 5-20 dollars doesn't seem too bad depending on what progress they make between now and release.

Saw this on Blue's twitter.
Hey Guys!!!. . . .'Terraria, Coming to your Windows PC, June, 2011'.
It's sooner than his maximum guess earlier, and at least it won't interfere with anybody's education work when it comes out.
But when it does come out I will build castles. Out of gold. In the sky. Multiple times.

The new trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w7uOhFTrrq0&feature=feedu), now with less blatant copyright infringement. I can't say that the sprites look better, but it does look nicer with the rocket boots and it sounds like as though the devs will release alternate sprite packs for Terraria.
I may just buy this later as I know I will fail my classes if I buy this now, I'll buy it toward the end of the week when school shit stops flying at me.

Reeeeeally tempted.
Just not sure if I can justify buying it. It's cheaper than a TF2 hat but maaan I don't know, I feel like the novelty will wear off kind of quickly.

Aldurin
05-17-2011, 11:37 PM
It's steam hosted, and one of the LP videos said you need twice the memory needed to run Terraria normally in order to run a server.
But I would like a server.
Also KERENSKY WHAT ARE YOU DOING SITTING ON THAT FENCE THERE GET OFF YOUR ASS AND BUY THE GAME.
EDIT: The only reason I haven't already bought it is so that I can get most of my school shit done instead of failing and/or going into a sleep-deprived work craze. BUT I WILL GET IT THIS WEEKEND AT THE LATEST.
EDIT2: I doubt the novelty will wear off quickly, and even if it does Redigit cranks out shit for the game so fast it makes Notch look comatose in comparison, so boredom should be temporary at worst.
EDIT3: So server's aren't run through steam and there's a bit of stuff that needs to be worked out with adding certain necessary features (fortunately they're saying it's only a couple of weeks for this stuff to be done).

I got this game instead of Minecraft, mostly because it looks like my computer can run this easily, as far as I can tell, anyways.
It's pretty good, actually! Took me a few hours to figure out how to build a damn house properly, but I got it.
I'm trying to find enough materials to make a better pickaxe at the moment, because holy crap digging anything but sand can be slow going.
Of course, it's just one day of play, so I'll probably get better at this soon.

This game desperately needs a proper tutorial instead of that useless Helper guy, but once you get into it it's awesome. It feels like Minecraft with more of an emphasis on adventuring.
I've already gotten a magical glowing boomerang, boots that increase my maximum speed to incredible heights, a bottled cloud that allows me to double-jump, and a wicked sweet set of goggles.
The best part is that your characters seem to be persistant as far as I can tell, so if someone DID get a server going then we could show off our fancy duds.

A character's inventory does carry over between maps and servers, which will be nice since we can have official nights of "How many times can we murder the Eye of Cthulu before the sun rises?" and similar things.

Are you refering to making things like bars of metal or torches? Just keep clicking, you can forge a bunch at a time. Now, sadly that doesn't work when buying from the merchant, but crafting is no issue.

If I want to make a giant wooden house, do I really have to click each time I want to make 4 wood walls, though?
It'd be great if you could use something like the right mouse button to just craft the maximum possible. It'd save a lot of time.

This game isn't unfinished in the way that Minecraft is unfinished. This is "unfinished but rapidly cranking out awesome shit on a regular basis" and not "unfinished but periodically releasing updates that may or may not be awesome". If you are making something that can be stacked, such as walls, arrows, bars, potions, glass, bottles, chains or bars, that you can just keep clicking on the icon until you have made enough. Items that don't stack, such as a pick or sword, can only be made one at a time.
Edit: If you are near a meteor, it'll keep spawning Meteor Heads to a max of 5 out at a time. You need at least a gold pick to mine meteor metal. If you mine enough of the meteor it'll stop spawning heads. I think the metal tiers are GOLD<METEOR<DEMON<?.
We are n desperate need of an NPF server for this.

We know that. Thank you. That's not what anybody's complaining about.
It's just that if you want to turn all of your sand into bottles, for example, then you take a 250-point stack of sand, click 125 times to turn it into glass, then click 125 more times to turn it all into bottles.
A simple right-click to go straight to max would be MUCH more appreciated.

Aldurin
05-19-2011, 10:50 PM
Minecraft is hardware rape compared to other games, so you should definitely be able to run it.
There are some things that make me feel like Notch is not as clever as he'd like people to believe. Minecraft lagging on ANYTHING despite being ugly and made of boxes is one of them.
Aldurin
05-19-2011, 11:10 PM
It took him forever to add an option to remove buried blocks from the active memory, and Notch is a bit of a douche, especially when he was throwing around the ideas of "only obsidian can make blocks float" or "torches should be made temporary". But it's just one of those downsides.
At least Blue (Terraria's PR guy) has said that they're trying to go for the features that people will like, and not adding annoying bullshit like creepers (that was forgiven 99.999% though) or animals that hijack your minecarts.
Marc v4.0
05-19-2011, 11:15 PM
Minecarts would be nice.
As well as some monster spawn scaling that will make singleplayer seem less like it requires more people to actually play once you get down far enough. Keep getting cluster-raped by forever spawning Imps that shoot fire through all walls and hordes of Bone Serpents
Yeah, I saw a discussion between Mr Podunkian and Notch where the former was criticizing Notch for not implementing something to let people mod Minecraft more safely, despite using user created code in his game, and Notch called him a troll and just generally came off as kind of a jerk.

I have just confirmed beyond the shadow of a doubt that the dungeon hates you and wants you to die, regardless of how well geared and prepared you are. That said, I am well geared and even have a lot of items I would just love to give away to anyone who is up for some shenanigans. If anybody can run a server, I would love to just throw all this free shit at them just to motivate them to run said server.
Among these free things are*: 1 Heart Crystal, 3 Mana Stars, 1 Flaming sword of doom, 1 molten bow, 1 whatever the fuck else I feel like I don't still need or have dupes of.

Eye of Cthulhu is annoying, but easy. I've got like four summons saved up, just gonna blow them all and shoot straight for demonite. If you just build a giant sky road at say, 800 height, you've got all the room in the world to kite him around, and it's great for blood moon/star farming.

Like I don't even know how to make a torch or build a house or whatnot
Right now I've holed myself between two giant walls of wood just to survive my first night
To build stuff, just press esc and there should be a list of things you can build with what you've got. Torches are made of wood and something blue thing slimes drop. You'll also want to get enough wood to build a workbench thing. Figure out where you're going to build your house, and put it there.
Building a house is just stacking bricks or stone or what-have-you in the shape of a room, and then making some for of "wall" (it's an item type you can create at a workbench) and using that on the background to keep shit from spawning inside. Then make a door, make a hole in the side of your house where you're going to put your door, then put it there.
If you need any help beyond that, the Terraria wiki is a great source (http://terraria.wikia.com/wiki/Terraria_Wiki). There's even a getting started section.

I have no doubts I can run Terraria, but I've a feeling playing it online with you guys will involve lag. I'm always lagging on L4D2 and TF2 on NPF steam nights and my time playing Minecraft online had many hours of me not being able to do anything. Being more action-based means I'm even more screwed.
I think that it takes less to run Terraria means internet lag would be lessened. Less data to carry over. I'm no interbuttz expert though.
Revising Ocelot
05-20-2011, 01:55 PM
I'd think it wouldn't matter if the data amount's smaller, it's still got to travel a long distance if it's going America - Brazil. Lag's unavoidable. That's why I don't go in the monster areas on NPF Minecraft.

On large maps, I suspect digging down might be a bitch.
On a medium map, I will say reaching the "solid rock background" level -- where I've found tons of skeletons to smash and hearts to hammer -- isn't all that difficult.
Part of the key is to find open crevices underground so that you can avoid actually digging the entire way down, though.
Donomni
05-20-2011, 06:12 PM
They do take some time to find. Took hours to find my first one.
I think you just need to explore the open areas underground that are already there, and if you find another open spot with some blocks in the way, just dig those up and keep looking.
Granted, it is a LOT easier with the grappling hook, since you don't normally have to futz with making steps for yourself so much(Also, hang-mining). The more skeletons I smash, the more it looks like the hook is rare as hell. Of all the time I've played this game, I've only had two hooks drop.

I have the idea for the first server project we can do.
Listening to Blue when he was on one of the LP's, he said that each map would have a dungeon of a random color. Assuming there is a wide enough range of colors, we could take advantage of the large map dimensions and build ponies out of dungeon wall.

Found Obsidian today, made the skull needed to mine meteorites or whatever. Now if only a meteor actually fell...
Eye of Cthulhu showed up, and has basically been a pain in the arse since. Tried to fight him, but I either die before I kill him, or morning comes and he just bails. Probably gonna try and fight him again today.

I wouldn't say the combat is phenomenal or awe-inspiring but in a sandbox game of this nature it's not really why you play the game. I will say that I personally find the combat refreshingly superior compared to, say, Minecraft, which despite being the objectively more influential game felt more hollow to me in that area.
The difference between Terraria and Minecraft for me so far has been the root of my sense of accomplishment. In Minecraft, surviving the first night was a huge deal, but then all my sense of awe more or less exclusively came from building things. In Terraria, I haven't been nearly as interested in building wonders of the world, but I've enjoyed adventuring a lot more. Combat's a part of that picture, but the main thrill has been finding all kinds of treasure chests, artifacts, better minerals to mine and corrupted areas to restore. In Terraria there's a greater sense of you gradually growing stronger and more capable compared to Minecraft, which adds a bit to the fun.

So, question.
I built a little shack to spend the night in, but had to quit halfway through the night (literally and in-game).
When I loaded up the game again this morning, I was outside and immediately, and repeatedly raped* by four zombies and two flying eyeballs.
Does this game not save the location where you were when you log out, or did I run into some sort of bug, or something?
'Cause, damn.

If there's no price cap you should go for something like Portal 2 or Deus Ex: HR. Just for being economical. I'm torn on this, from what I've been keeping up with hear it sounds like a lot of fun. But everything I see in LP's make the game seem less fun than it sounds from here. WHAT SHOULD I DOOOOOOO!?!?!?!

You know, I might consider a d20, but what skill modifier would I use? And for that matter what's the DC? These are important questions to use before any die is rolled. After all, we're not talking about boggle here.

My biggest complaint about the game so far is the fact that the difficulty curve just kind of... plateaus. I mean, you hit a certain point and suddenly nothing can touch you. My Flamarang let me take down the Eye of Cthulu in about a minute, and then I went straight over to some corruption to kill an Eater of Worlds, again with no trouble at all. Now I have demonite armor too which compounds my unkillable-ness.
I haven't even found a Jungle biome yet. The wiki tells all kinds of stories about awesome items you can find in there. Of course, the only one I really give a damn about at this point is the Ivy Whip, since I literally have every other item in the game that matters to me, but it's the principle of the thing.
I have about 10 heart containers that I can't use because I'm at max health.
This is after 10ish hours of play. I think I've gotten my money's worth out of the game now, but dammit I want to see some new content soon.
EDIT: Maxed out Mana. My current loadout is the Meteor Set, which gives me mana boosts, and I also make lots of use of Starfury and Vilethorn. Flamarang is still the best weapon of all time though the Minishark with Meteor Shot is pretty sweet.
Just made Skeletron my bitch. Thinking of fighting the Eater of Worlds for a 4th time to see how quickly I can beat it. Anybody know if the difficulty scales with the number of players? Because they really need to do something about the difficulty curve... honestly, your starting gear is useless, you find new stuff through sheer luck, and by the endgame nothing poses a challenge to you at all. My pickaxe does more damage than the starter sword. THE PICKAXE.

The great thing about fire imps is that you can shoot their fireballs out of the air with any weapon. I was just sitting pretty, swinging a golden pick in their general direction while my mouse cursor was pointed behind me mining the hellstone.
Of course when you actually have to kill them all you need to do is keep attacking them, since they're stunned for a second or two after each hit. Keep swinging your sword and they can't teleport away.

Fight the bosses for demonite, or find a meteorite and get meteoric gear. Either one is a step up from gold, and eyethulhu is a cakewalk in an open area. Just bring some kind of ranged weapon and lots of ammo. (Edit: If you have starfury from any of the floating islands, it's better than him. He cries little demon tears all over the landscape.)
Demonite gear will also require shadow scales from eater of worlds. It's a melee oriented set that has more defense than the meteor stuff, which is mage oriented.

So I've kinda proven myself to myself by finally beating the Eye of Cthulu and the Eater of Worlds. Having lots of Healing Potions helps.
Got waaaay more Demonite than what I thought possible, so now I have a full demon set of tools/weapons(Not armor, as not only did I get those as drops, the Mining Helmet is still really useful).
Ended up finding a Musket while smashing Shadow Orbs and used my gold to buy a Minishark. Gonna probably make Meteor Shots for ammo(because holy crap it is ultra-tedious to buy musket balls).
Oh, right, meteors! I've made a Hamaxe from that junk, and I'll probably make a Space Gun, too, now that I know how. I'll probably make some armor of it, too, since the Space Gun uses Mana, I think.

Yeah. I used my starcatching road and just shuriken'd the hell out of him and his minions. A bow with unholy arrows doesn't hurt, or a gun that pierces. Really, the important thing is that when you're shooting at him you also clear out his little summons in between you and him too.

Donomni

I managed to win against it with a bow and fire arrows(I'm not sure if it was a gold or demon bow, though...), the main trick is to use the 200 HP healing potions so you don't spend a lot of time yutzing around with healing items.

Meteor and Molten armor will also illuminate you when you move, you just have to jink a bit to keep it going.
@Donomni: LOL yes, I got into a situation where I had managed to sort of stem the horde by laying down a pattern of suppressing fire with my minishark, but once I'd gone through 750 rounds without any appreciable ground gained, I thought to myself... "I... May need a bigger gun... Bigger than a minigun."
I also found (and love) Starfury. The only aggravating part of Starfury is it fails terribly whenever you go underground, which is about 90% of the game.
Edit: Found my bigger gun. The Phoenix Blaster with Meteor Shot is a terrifying force indeed.

Set (place) a bottle on a table.
Not terribly intuitive, but there you go. You can also place some other items on tables, like potions, or blue candles...
I think you can set them on wooden platforms too. It's handy, because you need an alchemy station to make greater health potions, which are two lesser potions and a glowing mushroom from glowing mushroom-land.

My only issue with this game is that it won't keep my position when I quit and then I go back to my spawn where I destroy whatever I built there, which forced a modification on my house in order to prevent that (I have the screenshot on my Steam profile but I'm too lazy to post it). Or at least some actual way to pause so that way if something interrupts you aren't forced to go back to spawn and/or hope you don't die.
You have to build a bed to change your spawn point.

If you make a bed (requires silk and wood I think) you can set your spawn point to wherever your bed is.
And I play windowed, whenever I click a different window from the game it automatically pauses for me. (Not saying I like this part though, I'd much rather have a manual pause and let time pass while I read comics or something...)

It's a bit counterintuitive, though... Bear with me, you're falling at terminal velocity, right? Fire your grapnel at the ground rapidly approaching to draw yourself towards it at high speed!

That would be great except I have yet to get a hook from the skeletons I keep genociding. I also became victim to the glitch where breaking a shadow orb summons the Eye of Douchebag, of course I had kill myself by being right on the edge of the explosion from the dynamite so I was taken by surprise back at my house.
And my temporary non-progress goal is to not die when I try to get to a third shadow orb.

It took me about 9 Shadow Orbs before I could get an Orb of Light. Must be payback for getting the grappling hook easily.
Found both the jungle and underworld today. I also seemed to have caused a glitch where if you link too many sources of water together to flow down, the game kinda forgets how much water is supposed to be there, and just keeps flowing.
The game eventually caught on to the problem and made most of the water still dumping out vanish(like, literally went from underwater to mid-air), but the underworld is still partially flooded.
Considering all the lava, NOT complaining.

Would flooding the underworld with water make the excursion easier? Because I have a fuckton of water that is not that far from it at all (the result of getting pissed of when little pools of water didn't make the lava fields easy to harvest obsidian from).
Kerensky287
05-26-2011, 02:22 PM
I think there's probably some point at which the game decides "This water's been flowing for too long. Is it flowing out? Is there still more than half of it left? Fuck it, let's estimate." And then it just skips to the end.
I managed to flood a massive lava-filled pit once by accident this way. I drained 3 good-sized chambers of water into a single massive basin, and then started dumping it toward the lava I was going to farm. Then the game lagged, and about 10 seconds later the entire chamber went from a slowly-filling pool to completely flooded.
Considering how draining water physics must be (lol pun), I'm okay with the compromise. And I mean, it's exploitable, assuming it actually exists and isn't just my imagination.

So hey, a little thing I discovered. Just a little thing.
Namely.
Breaking a shadow orb sends reverberating waves throughout the world. And if you are of decent health and the time is nighttime, then these waves go wake up a particular eyeball.
And if you don't know what the message "You feel an evil presence watching you" signifies, then you just might be completely SCREWED.
Especially if you decide to summon him all on your own before he can wander over. Cause then you'll be fighting two. And it's not exactly the best thing to be doing.

Once you're connected to the Hamachi network you should be able to connect to me through 5.247.134.192, but Krylo's having issues so I'ma jank around with it.
E: Krylo, they changed the server port in the last update, which I apparently didn't have even though I shut the server down after a power outage and yelled* at Steam the day after they released it. Doing stuff and then should be good.
Asked nicely for the update.
EE: Patched, updated, rebooted. Self-connecting fine and showing the right port now. That was prolly it. >.>
EEE: And it kinda has to use all the jib-jab stuff, sorry. Basically, they don't have any good support for multiplayer aside from "It's there!" right now because we got an early release and even just host-names is out of the question. Steam integration would be a plus but they didn't get around to doing it before the release.

You'd think if they were on steam they would have done a steam multiplayer integration, but noooo.
Actually, they're planning on doing that eventually, but the game was leaked early, so they released early, so it's not set up yet.

Played for about three hours after work with CJ.
Map has none of the features you mentioned that we could find, but I have a house to the right of where CJ and I spawned in down the hill. Sign outside calls it my fortress of solitude and points out we are subleasing to dryads. It also has a door to a mine shaft CJ and I rolled through quick. Not well designed, but anyone is welcome to go down there and fix that/make it more navigable/take whatever resources they like (but not from my chest. I emptied it this time, but if I DO leave stuff...).
CJ has a house basically right on the spawn point.
We both live in holes in the ground (though hers is more natural, mine is more underground castle).
Edit: Found the town. Just a bit further than I had checked before. To be fair it was night, and I'm not well equipped yet.

Meteor armor is awesome for providing 37 defense as a set, the only drawback is the created illusion of invincibility (I died from not paying attention to health during another routine Eater of Worlds duel).
I want to take on Skeletron but I keep putting it off because I want the sun flail from the bone serpents that never appear in hell.
Also that fuckton of water I have is apparently glitched into infinity so I just "left the faucet running" so it's a constant trickle into hellworld right now. I hope it looks ok in hindsight.

Yeah, this is all jib-jab to me, can you just post the IP here?
He can't, because then you wouldn't be connected to him.
ANYWAY, you have to download a program called Hamachi, then join an existing network, then use the name 'NPF Bits' and the password 'FPN'.
Basically, Shy, Hamachi creates a VPN for us, which allows us to act like a network, kind of as if we were LAN'd, except across the interbuttz and with encryption and passwords and stuff. Once you're connected to the Hamachi network you should be able to connect to me through 5.247.134.192, but Krylo's having issues so I'ma jank around with it.

The reason im so ticked off is that I tried this same IP twice and it says it doesn't exist and there is no fucking list of names because IM NOT ON A NETWORK. So i can't go to Step B with out Step A and I can't go to step A because I DON"T HAVE THE IP.

You don't need the ip. You download the program called hamachi. You connect to the server called NPF Bits on that, with the password FPN. This will show you all the other people connected to that server, including McTahr, whose IP will be shown.
Hamachi doesn't use IPs to connect to networks.

You should have LogMeIn Hamachi 2 (http://hamachi.en.softonic.com/).
When you start it up it should ask you to put in an ID for your computer, this can be whatever you want it to be. Then it should ask you if you want to join a network or start a network. If not you'll have to go to the network menu at the top of the window and select join an existing network.
When you click the join button it should come up with a box that lets you put in a network ID and password.
This screen:

It turns out that with meteor shot, it doesn't take long at all to find flying islands! I am now the proud owner of a golden horseshoe and a shiny red balloon thanks to them.
Coupled with the rocket boots the goblins were so kind to give me and my jungle suit, I'd have to say that there is no distance I cannot travel.
Except the ocean. Where are the flippers and breathing reed? I need them for mass transport of water to the underworld. Plus it would help when meteors decide to crash into the ocean.
I only now require Tim to make an appearance so that I can steal his hat, and for the Bone Serpents to give me the Sunfury. Then I will be done getting stuff. It will then be time to BUILD stuff. I'm thinking a giant floating palace on the nearby flying island with all the bricks I've stolen from shrines...

It's funny how you'll view demonite soon, since once you have all of the tools and armor you'll head straight to meteorite and in the process you'll kill enough World Eaters and Giant Eyes that you'll have hundreds of ore and no reason to use it.

First tower is nearly complete. It is known as the 'Pillar of Corruption' and is made out of Demonite and Ebonstone.
It has enough ebonstone that you can summon the Devourer of Worlds within (which I have done once and will do again soon to get more demonite to finish it). I also made a small corrupted area around it, as that it is right on spawn if this makes it too difficult for new players, you can purify some of that. I don't think it should be much of a problem, however, given they can just hop into the tower and take an express elevator to the mines under my house, or walk a few feet to the right and be free of the corruption.
Also figured it might be convenient to have a place to spawn the devourer without walking.
Edit: Thinking of making a 'world tree' the theme for the town pillar, as that the town itself is already a wooden tower that could be easily converted into a 'trunk'.

It seems to do that. It says Bone Snakes are rare, and yet I end up fighting two of them at once every time I go hellstone hunting.
Thadius
06-07-2011, 01:18 AM
You do that and you DON'T blow them up for their rare drops?
Figured I might as well type it out here: Every segment of the bone serpent has a 1/100 chance to drop either of their rare drops.
Let that sink in. Every. Segment.
So what do you do to ensure that you get a rare drop? Well, nothing. But you can improve your odds tenfold.
Step 1: Go to hell.
Step 2: Mine out a bit of hellstone.
Step 3: Make a stage about 25-30 blocks long. You may want it longer. Ensure that you are not floating over LAVA, but rather solid ground.
Step 4: Within reasonable jumping distance, lay down a similar length of wooden platforms. You need to be able to jump onto it from your stage at a moment's notice.
Step 5: Either find something to do or hold an Aqua Candle.
Step 6: When a serpent shows up to play, ensure that it is burrowing and jumping as vertical as possible near your staging area.
Step 7: Equip your dynamite.
Step 8: TIMING. I find that as the serpent's head is just about to clear the platform going down is an ideal time to toss the dynamite at your feet. After of which comes jumping for your life and waiting for the serpent to walk into your trap.
Step 9: BOOM
Step 10: Profit!
Small note: DO NOT USE HELLSTONE BRICKS. Those ARE perfectly destroyable. Regular HELLSTONE is not.

Not really very far along yet, and this one will probably take me a few days, because it's going to take a lot of dirt and wood, and I don't keep stockpiles of either normally (and any wood stockpile I HAD went toward the skyway).

400 feet below is fine, especially since it leaves downward expansion as an option.

For the curious, the Clothier has taken up residence in the ground floor of my tower.

Can someone please tell me why I always start the game having to rebuild my front door and floor?

You need to make a bed, place it in your home and right-click it to set it as your spawn. Any non-background items within your spawn area are destroyed upon reloading.
Or if you're lazy you can just move your door and floor out of the way.

I've started building my place of residence in the server!
...It's kind of near/underneath somebody else's, and the entrance is split off from the Hellavator route, though, and I could see both of those as problems people would complain about. If you want me to cancel it and build elsewhere, I absolutely will, but I'd prefer if somebody told me sooner rather than later...
EDIT: I can't figure out who that building belongs to, it's the crazy gorram sky pillar next to the Hellavator.

If you are talking about the one made out of wood, that is the NPC village.
If you are talking about the one made out of stone, that is my tower.

I wonder if The Groom is also a little nod to L4D's Bride Witch...

It could also be the Ebonstone Tower, I think, or even My castle

Quit whining and start sunfury farming.
Also if anyone is willing to trade rocket boots for one platinum please let me know so we can meet up on the server and trade (I've lost my patience with trying to find it).
