Taking the role of Ghat, the player must battle through a dystopian world called Zenozoik, punching weird humanoid things to death as he is on the run for killing a giant bird thing. The game is in a first person perspective, and is classified as a fighter. There is heavy emphasis on melee and hand to hand fighting. There are guns, but they aren't that good and you are very prone to dropping them.

The game came out 2 years ago on PC, or 1 year ago for XBox Arcade. I recently got it on Steam for like $3, and have decided to record while I play it. So basically I'll be talking to myself and about the game as I play through it for the first time.

Here is our lead character and his dame.

And what the game will look like most of the time

I have also already started.

Wow, you suck at this. That's my favorite thing to watch! :D

Also, concerning "grabbing the bull by the horns," the idea isn't that you walk up to the bull and do it. The bull does the walking up, and by "walking up," I mean, "charging you at full speed, trying to gore you with his horns." You grab the bull by the horns as opposed to turning around and trying to run and getting a foot-and-a-half of horn in your back. Thought you'd like to know.

What a coincidence, I just started playing this yesterday. It's a ton of fun, though I suck at it.

I don't suppose there's anything you can do about the framerate? Other than that I look forward to more panicked flailing around.

What is wrong with the frame rate?

Perhaps not framerate in particular, but performance in general. There is some noticable frame skip occasionally, and it'd be nice if the loading screen didn't result in a lot of audio skipping on your part (i.e. at 47 seconds in). Not sure how you'd fix that one though.

Just minor issues, really.

This looks like a terrible terrible game I would never want to touch.

The loading screen seems to mess up the recording. The first video seemed to skip around with the sound, but the two I have back logged made the sound desync. Seeing as desynced sound is the worst thing imaginable in videos, I'm going to go replay those two portions and will be stopping and starting the recording before and after every loading screen.

The game is pretty fun, but after it stops introducing new moves it may get very old. Hopefully there are some neat (melee) weapons.

That is a truly amazing Snidely Whiplash mustache tattoo.

The game is pretty short, so I never really found it to get boring. Though the ending is really weird, even considering how weird the rest of the game is.

I recommend it though, a lot of fun, and the voice acting is amusingly bad.

Blind playthroughs can be fun. I wish you luck in exploring this stupid-looking (but maybe awesome?) game.

A few notes:
- Was it necessary to spend the first 1:25 in part 2 talking about the audio and your cat?
- Instead of cutting your updates to between loading screens why not edit out the loading? Is it a big hassle to stop-and-go with your recording software? [honest question, as if it is then I totes get why you're doing it but if not then you are making your videos short 'cause you're lazy :P ]
- At about 3:30 in the part 2 video the loading screen comes up. Is the breathing part of the loading or did you just not edit out your breathing into the mic while nothing happened? You might want to edit...

Yes.

If I could think of something game related to talk about, I would have. But I was just shooting a big wave of bird things.

I suppose laziness, but I have no issue with short videos.

Also I have to stop recording between loading screens because it will most likely desync the audio. It's just putting two videos together, but again no issue with short videos. Though most programs I have access to change the quality or resolution somehow

I blatantly lied before this edit, in hindsight. I thought it was just silent so I ignored it. It will also be replaced in 5 minutes.

- Was it necessary to spend the first 1:25 in part 2 talking about the audio and your cat?Have you been watching his LPs? Every Tactics Ogre battle was accompanied by updates on where his water was, how tired he was, groaning while he decides where to equip something then just not equipping it, cat issues, and the occasional burp.

...

And now I'm sitting here, trying to think of how that's a positive thing and what it says about me that I'm defending it.

It's funny?
