Is anyone else playing this?

I stumbled into it when watching "Extra Credits" on penny arcade.

Basically it's a web based rpg with really good writing and compelling content.
The setting is, well, I guess I'd describe it as... dystopian victorian england.

Check it out, it's well worth the time.

I've been playing for ages. Not much at the moment because I'm capped out in everything and don't feel like grinding too much but new content is supposed to be dropping today.

Glad to see some good browser-based MMOs are finally getting made!

I'm excited for Shadowrun Online, too.

EDIT: Huh, I was expecting something more where you walk around a bit,, like an RPG. Instead it's text-based.

HOWEVER, it is one of the better text-based things I have played and actually pretty fun and addictive somehow!

If either of you would like to engage in, perhaps a dinner or somesuch, I'd be very much interested.

EDIT: Mainly for Magus, you can invite friends for activities that benefit you both, dinners for an example.

So, that's what the PA part of PATV means.

Yep. Their commentary on Call of Juarez is pretty good and I will note it says a LOT about lazy game design.

I played Echo Bazaar a while a go: it was fun, the storylines were nice and the genuine 'choose your own adventure' feel of the whole game was quite satisfy, but then they started to further limit how many moves you could make in a day. I liked a lot of the game play aspects but it was hard to enjoy when you can feel the leash tightening around your neck the more fun you have.

I have an account. Need to remember to get on it because I'm still way at the beginning.
