I'm not surprised to see Kimzi's put down the Entity quite handily. I mean, she is the galaxy's cutest harbinger of destruction.



I got to see some posts about the D'deridex retrofit, but its stats are still in flux. Interestingly, it looks like RCS consoles are being modified so super-whale ships might be able to make more viable use of them. The quote said something along the lines of "you won't be zipping around like an escort" but that it would be easier to get guns pointed where you wanted. I suspect Gal-X captains are really crossing their fingers.

As well as those of us with Vo'quv Carriers (*Smiles innocently*) and Klingon Battlecruisers can come close to an Escort's turn speed (Kamarag comes to mind. I'm working over the New Romulus Rep and I do see some things I want...namely some Scorps for my Vo'quv so I can have Cloaking Fighters to match my B'rels.:smug:

People are still awful at this game. I don't even understand how.
It's especially amusing when I can solo a side in KASE and the four others still can't stop the probes.

Drazona has been updated, I guess? No more dancing on the bar and making fun of all the ERP folks?


Also think it's pretty retarded that my ships now all have an impulse AND a warp core. What the Hell, Cryptic? Like you need more excuses to buff everyone's stats.

First Warp Cores: I rather like this mechanic as when done right, you are practically promised to be hard to kill. (I would know, got a Blue Mark XI Overcharged Warp Core [SEP][E->S][SSS] for my Assault Cruiser w/ Aegis Set...dear god. O_O I can run Auxiliary at 20-25 and still top 50 and have engines hit 104 at 85 and still do about 70 Weapons and 80 Shields with 40 respectively.

Second...the Scimitar is a bit of a Glass Cannon. What it gains in turn rate it loses in tanking ability without the Secondary Shields and trading the Commander Engineering for Commander Tactical. It is also a Heavy Escort/Dread hybrid.

Day three of the summer giveaways is today and brings the first ships -- the Yellowstone Runabout and To'duj fighter craft

The previous two days were outifts for feds only - one that's been in the game and sold on the Exchange for cheap for a couple years off and on -- the earlier seasons DS9 / all of Voyager style uniform -- depending on demand, and the "Kirk Command Tunic".


Free account unlocks are nice. If you don't already have these things, dust off the game and pop in there.
