The demo is out now. The game is out next week. This news caught me with my pants down but now I'm so excited. The demo is amazing. The game is going to be amazing.

Now discuss how SSX is the best sport/racing/trick/boarding/awesome game of all time.

(eeeeeeeeeeeeee I'm excited!!!!)

The lack of SSX fans on this forum is seriously depressing.

Eddie and Psymon are in, good enough for me.

[ed] Ah, but Eddie's a pre-order bonus... hm...

Holy cow, this is good, although I thought the content of the demo was a bit strange. For all the talk of the Deadly Descents and whatnot, not including one suggests a lack of confidence.

The Über tricks also feel a little low-risk. Before, they used to be big, lengthy manoeuvres that you could only do on the biggest jumps. Now, it feels that if you're not in super-tricky, you're doing it wrong. I just fear that they won't feel special any more.

Psymon has always been my go-to guy because of three reasons. 1) He's hilariously psychotic, 2) He's Canadian, 3) The Guillotine. Best. Trick. Ever.

I think they were trying to show off that this game still had the classic SSX elements and wasn't all about the deadly descents since a lot of people didn't like all the talk about the Deadly stuff and were worried it wouldn't feel like an SSX game.

And yeah I agree about the Uber tricks. While it's nice that you can bail out of a trick in the middle of it and still land, it takes away a lot of the risk in the risk-vs-reward of big tricks.

I just got my first sub-two minute run and I feel so damn good. Although the guy on my friends list who is 8-seconds in front of me can die in a fire.
