Terraria ends development

Well, this was unexpected.

Long story short, no more Terraria updates.

Not gonna stop me from playing it with my friends, and Starbound is something I've been keeping on my radar for a while already.

Great, now I can finish my LP without having to worry about it becoming incomplete once a new update comes. I can claim to have showed everything relevant. Once I'm done, of course. Good news, honestly. I'm not even joking.

And yeah, ten bucks is basically a steal for a game like that.

Well, this was unexpected.

Not... really? I mean the whole reason it was getting so many updates is that an early build got leaked, so rather than dealing with everyone pirating it and getting burnt out before release, they released their early build and the 'updates' were less updates and more just them finishing the game.

Edit: I mean I'm not sure if they decided to go beyond that at some point and then changed their minds, but this is really something that shoulda been seen coming from release.

Well, at least this place has been one of the more civil places... apperentally on the main Terraria forums, there's a lot of "WHAT THE FUCK!?" threads and general bashing of the creator for ending it.

So thats it then, Terraria is dead. and all because of a BABY!! are you serious. a child is a life thing and how can you "get to know" a baby when they havn't even developed. here is a hint. babies cry, shit, piss vomit and sleep. yes it is a good thing to have a child but you have decades to be with your son. so use your time now to finish this child of yours.
