Welcome to people, mostly myself, making fools of themselves. We did tons of Drunkstreams now, below you can find them all. (Un)fortunately the only one cool enough to actually archive the video despite better judgement is my humble self. But even streams without proper archives are listed, because they were cool too. I also don't want to confuse people by jumping from 3 to 5 or anything...

By that I mean I'll get drunk while playing Castlevania 4, every time I swear I have to drink. Now, some people have expressed their interest to be part of this and we discussed this in the chat. And well... by discussed I mean they basically said "OHMIGOSH I'MA BE ON SKYPE WITH YOU WHILE U DU DIS!" Which means that those people will ditch me in the last second. Those people were Amake, Mumu, Cabal and some other people maybe. I'm mostly mentioning your names here so you can be ashamed when you don't show up because you have better things to do.

If you want to watch me do that, possibly while being verbally abused by other drunks, you can do that. I'll stream it live for everyone to watch tomorrow, 11pm GMT+1, which is 5pm Central time I think. But your bloody American timezomes are for wankers anyway.

Originally I wanted to make something like this for the last part of my Dark Souls stream, drinking every time I die. But I lacked the necessary materials. Some time later someone on Twitter reminded me of this by giving me the glorious idea to play Castlevania IV and drink every time I swear.

I don't get as hammered as in the first one but it was still a good time for everyone. Playing Super Castlevania 4 with the SNES mouse, it was amusing. Too bad restarting the emulator fixed it.

Looking back, I'm amazed at how much fun that was even when I could barely hear a word. Now I've listened to the whole conversation, and wished I had been capable of participating about 60 times over. Maybe I'll write a minute by minute commentary if I get really nostalgic.

If I'm gonna do it again I'm gonna play the original Castlevania, that's what I originally wanted to do anyway but then I started up my rom of CV4 and got all nostalgic because it's one of my favorite games ever. I also wont get as drunk. I also want more noticeably drunk people with me. When Cabal told us he could outdrink smarty I knew that this wouldn't end well. Of course Cabal can come along as well next time his terrible voice is oddly soothing to the drunk mind, I just need more drunk people, not just me.

Of course, I also encourage other people to do stuff like this.

By the way, I know I've asked this several times while inebriated but how was the stream most of the time? Was it choppy or okay? Because for obvious reasons I never looked at it myself.

I'm doing it again. Most likely Saturday, 16th June 2012, 10pm GMT+1, which should be 4pm Central for you American fuckas. What game am I going to play? I'm not quite sure yet. I originally wanted to play Castlevania for the NES, but some people told me I should play Binding of Isaac instead (I also did a bunch of sober videos of that, spoilers galore (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2B8931B688CA66AE&feature=view_all)). I've also been thinking maybe one of the Megaman games would be nice. You may suggest games, preferably 2D games, because they come over well in the stream opposed to 3D ones (Proof: my Dark Souls stream). However, I'm not gonna bind myself to your suggestions, if I think it's a stupid idea to play that monster rape game which is basically a visual novel I will not play that.

I'm going to try real hard to not say anything but I'm drunk for one hour straight, but I can't promise anything.

Cabal will probably accompany me again, maybe Grimpond will too. Perhaps you will??? I don't know. It's all in the stars.

Maybe in the future we can get a multiplayer drunkstream thing going (unlikely) but unless it's emulated splitscreen I think it might be best to wait until we find a way to switch to each participant's POV within one stream.

I had this idea to play Super Metroid, but that isn't a game where I would swear a lot.
I've also been thinking of doing Contra/Probotector 1 through 3 But that would be no fun, because there's no need to swear during the first game and I don't really know the second so I'll not drink anything for 20 minutes until I reach that one.

I could play Zombies Ate My Neighbors though, and one of you could technically play with me via netplay. Same is technically true for Contra, but latency will really fuck you up in those games.

Mega Man or Mega Man X games? I don't know. Should be fun playing those semi blind.

I think I'm definitely not doing Binding of Isaac drunk.

The original Castlevania though... I mean, that was my plan. It's just much harder than its remake, which I played last time.

But yeah, would be awesome if we could somehow get 4 people's screens in the stream and play simultaneously or even together. Like, I don't wanna seem like I wanna be at the center of attention or anything, that's not really like me. If anyone feels like it they can do their own drunkstream and I'll join the call.

And if anyone knows how to set up a split-screen stream so we can do a drunken "race" or just play some multiplayer game (with this tiny resulution I suggest low to medium res 2D games where stuff is easier to make out) that would be fantastic.

But yeah, I don't know when I'll do another drunk stream. Maybe again after three weeks like this last time, but I'll announce that again here. And if everyone else feels like doing something like this in the meantime feel free to do that here too. I'm gonna update the OP then.

Sure, there were quite a few people in the call who didn't drink. Would be different if we were playing some kinda game together where soberness would equal unfair advantages. But so far we haven't done anything like that anyway, since it was only me playing.

Personally I think it's a little hard for drunk playing but it does apparently offer the option to multiplay to some extent and it'd be great if I weren't the only one visibly playing.

Another option is also to play an Emulated game via netplay, but it'd have to be one where some latency issues wont make it unplayable. Zombies ate my Neighbors springs to mind here, I played a few levels of that in my last stream. Smash TV is also possible. Never played that game, though. But I hear it has a multiplayer mode that's kinda fun. Downside to this is they're 2 Player games. (I think)

If any of you have great ideas for fun games that can be played by multiple people go on ahead and let me know. If not enough people are interested in actually multiplaying I'll just go on as regular and play Battletoads or something (A game with a multiplayer mode that is impossible to win, har har), maybe one of the Megaman games or Ninja Gaiden.

That game there is IWBTB but it appears very similar to IWBTG, not only in name. I played a bit of it. If anything it seems a little more polished but still a lot of trial and error gameplay and also really hard. Maybe we could do that one sober some time or something.

A few of my favorite moments from the fifth Drunkstream. I'm sure I missed some great stuff, but I didn't want to watch it all again, so I just picked some stuff of which I roughly remembered when it happened.

I've had this idea to do a Saints Row 2 Drunkstream after joking around in chat to stream it and make Smarty my character. But it will be a few weeks until I do that. For one I don't want to drink all the time like all those alcoholics, but I'm also out of booze. In fact, that might be the actual reason I'm not doing it today. At least that's what I'll claim so you think I'm a cool party animal.

So yeah, After what I was told was the worst drunkstream ever I decided to salvage it by making Drunkstream 6.66. Alternate title: Drunkstream 6: Redemption. I'll never do this stupid thing where I get rid of the numbers but add shitty titles instead.

I do hope the regulars will be able to show up. For example if Cabal can't show up I'll kill myself and if Smarty can't come I'll cry and if Sif plays Borderlands instead I'll kill him. RO will also have to provide is sexy voice and accent.

The game played will be Saint's Row 3 featuring the likeness of Smarty. I already made the character but we can change him at any time. It costs 500 bucks. That's about half a minute of powersliding if you're bad at powersliding. You can also tell me all kinds of things I have to do, we're not bound to doing missions, which is why we'll be playing a file that already has a few missions cleared so I can open with a particular one that feels like a rough estimation of how Smarty parties.

I would have done it this week if Smarty could have guaranteed his fantastic narration, instead I'll have to do it next week and do it all alone if I have to. I might be forced to move it back one week for unrelated reasons but that will probably not happen unless it does.

But you know you'll have to be there. You just know.

Yeah, it's sometimes that they've got these auto check things that they can buy when they make their own Youtube Channel, that compare bits of video to their own bits of video- kinda making a heuristic search out of anything they submit.

Obviously, G4 has posted a bunch of Saints Row 3 videos in the past, and there was enough matching pieces to automatically get your video flagged as "G4." That's why the copyright contest feature is there, because videos can be flagged as infringement by machine automatically- and no automatic system is perfect, and Fair Use covers a lot.

The system works better with live action, single instance asset kind of stuff, with video games your video matches up with anyone else who plays that video game., but with a live action TV episode or even a cartoon, it would only match up with the original base media.
