This weekend(including Thursday I suppose) Steam is having a weekend sale of Paradox titles of about 50% and individual franchise sales at 75% off. Titles such as my favourite game of this decade includes the Mount&Blade series(including the DLC, Napoleonic Wars).
Going to take this opportunity to pimp out some of the Mount&Blade series' community multiplayer events in VIDEO/COLOUR!:
Example of Napoleonic Wars:

One of a pretty much dead mod, but has vanilla combat:

Mount and Blade Warband is probably one of my favorites as well, I haven't yet found a game with combat anywhere near as satisfying, Skyrim felt boring and hollow compared to it.
Mountain Blade is the only one that interests me and it'll most likely get it's own special day. So I gotta ask, which one?

Well... a direct pathway would be just getting Warband and the DLC, Napoleonic Wars. Everything else is kinda meh, the first Mount&Blade has some great mods, but most have moved on to the Warband scene and Fire&Sword is a personal meh from me.

I'll have to wait until the summer sale because I got some other nice things. Namely a new case and cooler for my PC :3. I?ll get Warband ASAP though, not on this weekend though.

I got Naval War: Arctic Circle and the Napoleonic Wars DLC for Warband. Anyone who decides to buy Magicka let me know if you want to play. I got it some time ago, but haven't played much due to not having people who to play with.

Count me in for Magicka. Just have in mind that I have no experience whatsoever with it, unless killing yourself over and over counts.

All you have to do is spam arcane and shield for eternity. I'm sure it does wonders in multiplayer.
We organized a Magicka group once and killed ourselves so much at the first area that we broke the game. Our first and last session.

I picked up Magicka, will have to wait and see if my computer can actually run it.
Probably should have been the other way around, but I don't have access to my home computer at the moment.

i have always been curious about Mount and Blade, now that i have it i know just how fun it can really be. It's all so clunky and Blockly and weird, but there is a LOT of satisfaction in Garrisonning in a small house with 30 people while reloading our muskets with the whizz of bullets flying overhead and some really, really dopey old music playing.
