King K. Rool is the Bowser of Donkey Kong Country, so he's pretty mainstream. Ridley is one of the main antagonists of almost ever Metroid game. Flint was a main character in Mother 3. Mike Jones was in Star Tropics which was freaking boss and he fought with a yo-yo, so there.

I still don't know about Palutena. I mean, sure, we know that she's got moves, but I wonder if she's right for the game.

On the other hand, if Palutena is playable, that means they have to give Pit a better Final Smash, since she won't be around to just be a face in the background anymore. I'm thinking the Three Sacred Treasures in a sort of Super Dragon-esque move. That, or The Great Sacred Treasure

What? Man, no way you're the only person. I want Mewtwo to come back. Just make his moves better. Shadow Ball was good, but Disable and Confuse were limited to the point of uselessness. Give him better moves in their place, and Psystrike as his Final Smash.

edit: ooh, maybe if they bring him back, they can replace Confusion with Psychic, where you flip them into the ground with your mind, and replace Disable with Hypnosis. Forward-wave version of Jigglypuff's Sing.

Mewtwo is badass and awesome. All he needs is to shed the dead weight moves known as Confusion and Disable, and up the power of his other stuff. Shadow Claw is another badass move that he has.

I'd be sad to see the badass staredown that is Disable go, but... wait, it doesn't need to go. Just put that animation for Hypnosis.

The thing that I really hated was the "Why are you mad? They've got Lucario in there and he plays like an even better version of Mewtwo!" argument, as if that's not just adding insult to the injury of Mewtwo's removal. Also mad science experiment > furry any day of the week.

Also Zelda ended up feeling like a better replacement for Mewtwo than Lucario, in terms of playstyle.

Try taunting with a swinging weapon in his hand. I'm pretty sure he psychically twirls it. My favorite move with him was his dashing attack with a swinging weapon.

Who else thinks that Mewtwo would be much better received if people used items more? I mean, seriously. the way he handles items is like a dream. Flinging boxes without even caring, slinging capsules at about a mile a second, and swinging Beam Swords like a boss.

And yeah, Lucario as a replacement is kind of sad. I like Lucario, but I loved Mewtwo.

Also, some of their move names for Lucario weren't even right. His Down B should've been called Counter or Me First, and his Final Smash is totally Flash Cannon. Instead, they called 'em Double Team and Aura Storm.

Speaking of Final Smashes: we all know that Mewtwo's would be Psystrike, since it's his new signature move, which nobody else can do. But what would it look like? In his own game, it's like a psychic ripple that then surrounds the enemy with little projectiles that all converge on the poor sap.

Oh, and as much as Sora might be a good character, it's not likely. Disney wouldn't let it fly. Dissidia Final Fantasy was originally billed as a Kingdom Hearts fighter, but Disney doesn't want their characters in that sort of game.

I've definitely come to really like Brawl-Zelda and play with her a lot**, but I really miss the strength of her in-air-side-kick from Melee. Shit would launch people for miles.

'course, that can be said of a few other moves, as well. Brawl really seems to tone down the smashing-about of people.

Actually there are a few characters I don't ever play in Brawl, whereas I would play everyone in Melee, more or less. I foresee the trend continuing in whatever they release next, if these names are any indication.

The thing that pissed me off in Brawl was they nerfed Ganondorf. I used to win all the time with him in Melee. He as like a more controllable Captain Falcon. In Brawl he freaking sucked. I suppose all the good characters in Brawl like Metaknight and such will be nerfed as well in this new one.

You don't even need Rest. He has the most jumps and the best midair control of any character, with decently powerful regular attacks to allow you to beat people up from any direction and then finish them with Double-edge. If you can do well at dodging then you almost never get hit.

Snake was okay, in my opinion, although all his smash moves were pretty slow compared to the rest of the roster.

Really, the characters I ended up playing most in Brawl were Luigi (He seemed better in Brawl than Melee to me, plus his Final Smash was fun), Zelda (because holy cow her side- and up- smash attacks are crazy powerful), and Yoshi (because egg throw is fun to annoy people with and his down+b is awesome. Same goes with Kirby.). And since I doubt any of those three will be absent from the new Smash Bros game, I'm okay with anyone they add in.

Clearly they'll add simultaneous Final Smash mechanics and more Star Fox characters. That way you'll be having fun as Yoshi and stop in horror as three landmasters block out the sun as they hurtle toward you.

EDIT: except for the horrible synthesizer music (synthesizer is fine and can be awesome, look at VS games pre MvC), the US TvC may have generic music but at least has a better synthesizer than the Japanese version, which has cheap sounding music. The MvC3 music sounds a bit too meh compared to previous themes.

Oh, man, I loved playing with Snake. I think he became my "thing". And yeah I think he was overpowered, can't remember too much (played Brawl way less than I had played Melee). But I think it was because you could shoot a rocket launcher literally at your feet. That was his best move.

Honestly, I can see Dunsparce being excellent and playing to the style of character I prefer playing, too. On the smallish side, relatively quick pacing, with a luigi-style launch "Take down", and Flail being move options. It's very different from all the other contenders, too, which for a 5 foot long snake based on the Coatl, Feathered Serpents.

I'm quite serious in voting for this thing, it would be a unique addition that I doubt we'd get in any other situation.
