So Tokyo Jungle is out on the PSN in the west. What is Tokyo Jungle you ask? Well it's kind of a Action RPG/roguelike when you play animals(and successive generations of their offpsring) trying to survive in a post human Tokyo. I just had my pack of pomeranians kill and feed on a cheetah to establish dominance over Shibuya Station, before finding a mate having puppies (which I then played as ) and fleeing into the sewers to escape toxic rain. Also you can find equipment, so my dogs are rolling around in furry jumpers and golfing hats.
Basically check it out, it's bizarre and hilarious.

This sounds....amazing...
Edit: Damn, I am $0.30 short on wallet funds. Guess I'll get a $20 card at some point.

It's an amusing game, but good lord... it's gonna be a grindfest until you get to the good bits!

I think the pure insanity of it makes up for the grind. Japan has to send more crazy games like this our way.

Sounds unique and interesting but I might pass on it. Mainly because I've grown just wee bit tired of apocalypse/post apocalypse themed games.
Been seeing a lot of them lately.

Yeah, but have you seen one where you can take a small Yorkshire terrier, and pit it against a pride of lions?
If your answer is "yes", you're a goddamned liar, and should feel ashamed.
If you say "no, but like I said: I'm tired of post-ap-"; shut up. Go play it. It's fun!
(Or, y'know... do whatever you like.)

what Melfice said, it's not really like any other post apoic games. I mean apart from the completely different and bizarre premise, it's a green post apoc which is really rare.
Also it's not as much of a grind as you'd think, the small starter animals are actually really fun and the game plays fast and addictively (like a roguelike) so getting the better animals is not like a slog.
