This is Misandry.
She's my character in The Secret World.
She accidentally glitched into a prison cell and couldn't get out.
There's a lot of terrible shit about this game but it's still really fun despite the fact I've been running around the same goddamn town for hours upon hours now.
It went subscription free recently and someone had a spare copy of the game. (Amazon has it on sale for $15 last I checked).
It's pretty fun and the subscription free option isn't remotely as aggravating as The Old Republic's.
Is anybody else playing this fun, terrible game?

I've been considering it, but until I get a couple of other games out of the way I probably won't try it.
I have heard good things about the unholy amount of work they put into the setting, and the specific ways that they break away from standard MMO mechanics, but other than that I may just wait to see if one of my favorite critics gets to ranting about it.

In case no one has told you this, /reset will kill you and spawn you at the nearest Anima well. It's not as useful as a Hearthstone, but it does in a pinch I suppose. I used it as fast travel myself.
First, do you have a link to the subscription free list of restrictions? I am a bit curious, and I am on a phone with an aggravating UI. (It thinks it's smarter than me)
Second, thankfully I never encountered any real bugs while I played. Except one where the Amusement Park and the colored glass and the monocle didn't play well together. All the lines were always visible, so it kind of played into my favor, I guess.
I bought the game at launch because I was looking for a non-medieval MMO. I played it pretty hard for a month or two (Got up to the last zone in Egypt) I was suitably impressed, the setting is interesting, and the investigation missions can be amazingly good fun. Not to mention there was a shotgun weapon tree. However, the "breakaway from traditional" thing is kind of misleading. It's a superficial breakaway at best.
Unfortunately, I also realized that despite a claim to support PVP the Battleground equivalents never popped (In fact I NEVER PLAYED A SINGLE ONE), the World PVP zone was a zergfest dominated by two main builds that killed everything else, and even though the stories and characters from the missions were great and there were a nice variety of missions the game kind of fell flat.
I would consider getting back into it, I had actually planned to stick it out since the game is barely 6 moths old (If that, it took WoW a year or so to hit full stride) to see what they fixed, but I dropped all my MMOs (Except for EVE, to train or maybe hop on and do a quick PVP roam or something) to finish my backlog of games.
Plus, you know... cancer. Easier to carry a PSP instead of a laptop around when you are being carted from one hospital room to another, less pick up and go. Also, the wireless internet doesn't allow MMO connections.

I hope it manages to succeed with the free-subscription based model because from what I have heard it is indeed one of the few attempts at making an original MMORPG and really shaking up the things.

Then what she said was true: She would die in that cell.
