Give them money. This needs to happen. It is entirely necessary for humanity.

Come on, guys. We need to make this happen!

I can give you one good reason not to.

Dennis Dyack.

yeahhh. the dude's a tool. The industry would be better off without him and a few others that come to mind.

Wait you mean I shouldn't give money to the guy responsible for Too Human? The guy who led an asinine lawsuit against Epic Games that drove Silicon Knights into the dirt? Not to mention several other fuck ups that happened under his watch?

Yeah, I'm not giving him a single cent until I see a finished product.

Also, c'mon now... aside from sanity effects and some cool atmosphere, Eternal Darkness is a very bland game...

I disagree but according to everything I've heard most of the credit for Eternal Darkness goes to the Nintendo employees who rode hard on Dyack and co. So I'd be happier funding this if it was by the Nintendo suits who stomped on Silicon Knights to make them work.

Nintendo are one of the best publishers as publishers go out there, they only really intervene on a game if they really think they need to, like with eternal darkness, which is why a lot of the Nintendo second party games are really really good (Rare when Nintendo had them, Retro, etc)

Looks like they decided to pull the crowdfunding plug. (http://www.pcgamer.com/2013/06/05/shadow-of-the-eternals-pulls-its-crowdfunding-campaign/)

Paul Caporicci of Precursor Games explained that the campaign will be suspended, along with the studio’s own PayPal drive on their website. “Along with [the Kickstarter] support has come a host of a new exciting opportunities that will make the game better than we envisioned,” he says. “As a result, we have chosen to temporarily take down the Shadow of the Eternals crowdfunding campaigns on both Kickstarter and our own website

Kickstarter backers won’t be charged; those who pledged via PayPal will be receiving full refunds. Meanwhile, the campaign is being “retooled” for a relaunch in a few weeks.

They might have found a publisher, but if they're planing on relaunching their crowdfunding campaign in a few weeks then I don't know. Could just be a cheap publisher. Who knows?

Hahaha, good joke Bells. Tell another one.

Man, you know what sucks? History-spanning Lovecraft-inspired interlocking plots with a dozen varied and interesting characters. Man those are so terrible!

The only character I will ever need in any video game is Call of Duty Dog. (http://youtu.be/Yd2LOJd6X6w)

So, if we're talking Eternal Darkness here, I did some drawing things a while back, thought you might want to have a look. Eternal Darkness drawing things, to be specific. Have a look if you've got a minute and don't mind spoilers. Not everything has survived imageshack's random deletions, but there's most of the good stuff still there.
