Goddamn it telltales why you have to game the good videogaemz?
Can we just talk about this stuff for a second? The good and the bad... the good is why more present though!
So, as stated right in thread title... full spoilers, no holding back. This is for those who played it (and you should, you really should). Mind you, i don't know if the game changes too much from previous decisions, so you might read about stuff that didn't happen to you even if you played it.
So, right off the bat the game goes apeshit by Offing Omid. We're like, what? 5 minutes in...? Bullet to the chest. Christa apparently had a miscarriage too... so your gut starts in a knot flat out off the gates with this story! And then, Clem gets separated from Christa!
On one hand, this shits majorly on what everybody was thinking would be the heart of Season 2... on the other hand i supposed that a couple like Christa and Omid would becoming grating to hear after sometime...
Same thing with the 16 month time skip on the beginning. The age Clem just enough for her voice and a bit of her attitude to change. Which im okay with it. She is still great though.... even though she apparently developed a keen sense of talking to herself more than Lee even...
Then there is the fucking "Doge" . And god damn it Telltale, why would you put a furry 4 legged bowl of sadness waiting to explode like that? Talk about cringe worth tear jerking moments! I played Frisbee with it! TWICE! C'mon now!!
Overall, i really liked this episode... weird question though: Why all women become dicks? I mean, Christa is the exception (and we know why she gets a bit like that... even though she never goes fully into dick territory) but the other two? Sheesh... talk about stark contrast with Clem... who by the way, still remains a great character.
And the whole stealth mission thing with Clem in the house and it's aftermath? Well, damn... that was more tense than Splinter Cell and Metal Gear level's of Stealth and cringe worthy payoffs...
Great kickoff to this season. And from the chapter titles it seems we are riding off towards a winter chapter in the end, and there are prison shenanigans in the horizon. Will be interesting to see where it goes!!
