It's good. Go download the demo.

"But?..."

Shut up.

As a PC gamer, Uplay. :(

The Wii U version lets you move the firefly buddy with the stylus.

So, that's neat.

I like how the firefly buddy can be used to manipulate the timeline while in combat.

There's a lot of that in the game. Certain party members specialize in speeding up/slowing down/knocking enemies out of their turns.

It reminds me a lot of the way battles were in FFX, which is probably the last time I really had fun with turn-based combat.

Plus the game's aesthetically brilliant.

As a PC gamer, Uplay. :(

It doesn't require Uplay for us console people...I don't think so anyway.

I already had Uplay from my time playing Asscreed. It's sorta nice I guess. I used some of my "points" I got playing Child of Light to get a theme and some bonus stuff in-game.

I mean, it's quaint.

The combat is taken almost directly out of the Grandia series, so look into them if you can.

The name "Grandia" makes me think of "Gradius" and how I wish I had Gradius V.

Anyway, thanks for the suggestion. :)
