They need to push Miss Pauling as a playable character, they've gone too far with characterizing someone you never seen in-game to just leave it that way.

Soldier is always fantastic. Though I do think the best part is how Miss Pauling is clearly part of the menagerie of psychopaths since she doesn't bat an eye at the morbid work she does in the aftermath of the mercenaries, something that I don't think came across very well in the comics since there it mostly felt like she was just willfully ignoring her coworkers' war crimes.

E: I'm pretty sure she assassinated the one director guy in comics so she's been deep in the butchery for a while I imagine.

Voice nothing like I imagined, but works. I never thought she had much issue with the work, just the way the mercenaries were treated.

She works for a nebulously evil corporation that created clones of a team of insane mercenaries to pit against each other in endless bloody battle for a stalemate that has gone on for years without any party, ranging from the Company's owners to the US Government, catching wind of their efforts, and is well aware that the team members she's talking to have died repeatedly, and that she's not talking to the same Scout she probably spoke with a week ago.

The real best part of this was that we got to hear everybody voiced, and everybody interact with each other. All we need now is a feature length version to hit theaters.

Well, now we know what Valve's been up to aside from Steambox/SteamMachine shenanigans.
