So far there are two Tech Trees. The United States and Japan. Japan lacks Carriers while US lacks Battleships but both are on their way. They just wanted to test balancing of the two classes. We also have Cruisers and Destroyers.

There is a Closed Beta and as far as I know, slots still available and will be in batches. Come sign up if you think you're hard enough. (http://worldofwarships.com/) See you on the high seas if you man up.

And now...because it's slightly related...The Village People.

Why would I play this when I can play kantai collection and have all the fun of the Pacific theatre with an anime beach episode?

Because they have a Kancolle-theme fleet over at the forums.

EDIT: Also...the chance to have your own Yamato to rain hell down upon your foes.

EDIT2: Also, where else will you find AI that plays better than most humans and have the chance to sink a Langley-class Tier IV US Aircraft Carrier in the IJN Katori?

"HANDS TO ACTION STATIONS" will now make me giggle inside for a few days.

Why?

It's actually the British command alert that is used on their ships to call General Quarters Battlestations. The US Navy says, "All hands to Battlestations." Jingles is British and served in the British Navy so he's using what he is familiar with.

Though for the surface fleet, it's "General Quarters" :P

No worries. I was using info I researched for an RP that had a submarine in it.

Anyways, who has signed up and still curious what Synk meant there.

Yeah General Quarters is our state of alert, battle stations is what you man when they call it. Shit gets awkward out at sea.

If it needs explaining, it wasn't funny.

Well that confirms it than. Figured it was the overused jokes about what's long, hard, and full of Seamen.
