In a nutshell, Ouya is way deep in debt and is looking to be bought out. (http://fortune.com/2015/04/28/exclusive-gaming-startup-ouya-needs-to-find-a-buyer-quickly/)
Now, I'm sorry but if you ask me, the Ouya is a sinking ship and I severely doubt that they'll find a buyer.

The common misconception about buy-outs is its a sign the company failed. Which is the opposite. No one wants to own a failing company unless it failed due simply to inexperience or poor management (because those are considered easy to fix)

I think the Ouya company has been as thoroughly owned as it can be at this point

It's true though.
I wonder how the original kickstarter backers feel about this development. I mean, it raised what? 3 million dollars?

Yea but as, I believe it was Extra Credits guys pointed out. 3 million is still a pathetically small development budget.

I know Mark's comment would have been a tad better, but I didn't want to get sent to my room.
