Now that the field was once again open to his eyes, Leraje scanned about... seeing that, indeed, the fight was over, and the Colonel had submitted. The fight was.... disappointing, to the say the least. With a heavy sigh, Leraje followed the medics back to the infirmary, to be "checked out," as per Ming's suggestion. He wasn't given the best care in prison, and wanted to know how bad the damage was.
As he walked, his mind traveled back to the years he spent locked away in solitary... how he had dreamed of a thousand ways his escape or release from prison would go. The magic... the blood... the deaths that would inevitably follow. He never thought his first battle after being released would be a mock battle. His spell fury had been cooled before it really got going... hell, he had only used one hand of his magics. He even had purposefully not killed anybody... why?... Hmph...
