I'll admit that I haven't taken much Philosophy and that I failed Ethical Principles once (I passed it the second time), but it seems to me that any philosophy class boils down to the professor spending the semester "disproving" every philosophy but the one they subscribe to, then conveniently running out of time before the class can discuss what they do subscribe to, while peppering the whole semester with "But [my philosophy] doesn't have this problem."
I mean, my Philosophy professors, beyond their classes, seemed like alright people, but the classes are just a waste of time. Hence why PHIL classes fall under "irrelevant and uninteresting" courses when I try to sign up. Which is a shame, given the contraction.
