The Fountain. I'm cheap and lazy, so I'm doing present day Izzy, while my friend's stuck shaving his head for future Tom.

I like dickishly unrecognizable costumes.

A friend reminded me of my idea to go as a future regeneration of the doctor.

So, I'm getting this, and doing that.

I'm going to dress up as Shaggy this year. Some friends and I are going to go trick-or-treating and then probably have some drunken shenanigans in or around any of various haunted houses in the area. Not the kind they set up for halloween with the ghosts and shit, but the ones that are just plain old normal abandoned houses with lots of superstition and such.

Oh great.

I got goggles for my costume as the Engineer, and the packaging is warning me that they contain stuff known to cause cancer, like lead. And tells me to wash my hands after using them.

I'm, well, definitely not going to use that for a casual Hallowee/convention costume, so I'm wondering; any of you guys know where I can find welding goggles that don't contain carcinogens?

Desided to pass on my reaper custom mostly due to me being broke. Looks like this will be the third Halloween I've missed out on.

I could go hit up Goodwill later and see about the green shirt at least...

Was going to go as Captain Hammer but multiple problems arose:

1) Never ordered the shirt
2) Shirt is $25 (really? $25? you're not hot topic)
3) No clue where I could have found welder's gloves

Even after I learned, grew up, and came to be on the right side of a lot of important issues, I was still angry, abrasive, and generally increased the amount of hate in the world, in pretty unacceptable ways.
