The Darkness II is pretty boss for a 2k game. I haven't tried the multiplayer yet but the single player itself is very rich and well done.
Gotham City Imposters looks insulting to the Batman legacy. |

Ahaahahaaha 9? Try 100. Granted it's all stuff you can unlock in game, but still. I heard from folks in the beta that it was enjoyable, but not much else (and I have no firsthand experience with the game, just hearsay).
Also coming out soon: Asura's Wrath. Or QTE the Game. Or The Game That Would Probably Be Better as an Anime. Why? Because in the demo you A) kill a god twice the size of the planet by punching him in the finger, B) Duel your ex-master on the moon, C) Get stabbed from the moon to the earth, and D) when you finally hit the earth the sword stabs through the entire planet. It just seems like a game that would be much more fun to watch than to play. Also, if you're a fan of Naruto then you should keep an eye on Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Storm Generations. Not only does it have the longest video game title I have seen (or at least that I can remember off the top of my head), it also has a stupidly long trailer.

The only game I am looking forward to coming soon is Shogun 2: Fall of the Samurai which is basically that one Tom Cruise movie where all the samurai die to machine guns.
It is gonna be sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet. |

Based on my demo experience with Darkness II, I may have to pick it up at some point. Really great impression. I'm not going to bother playing the first game I don't think. Heard meh-to-average things.
I'm pumped for Mass Effect 3, and also Max Payne 3. Gotham City Imposters looks interesting, and if there's some kind of trial I'll probably give it a whirl. Edit: Also Shogun 2: Fall of the Samurai AND ALSO I am feeling a little nostalgia pulling me to try the new Twisted Metal game coming out next week. I have an early copy so gonna give it a whirl. I can't see myself getting Gotham City Imposters for a couple reasons, despite it being essentially TF2, but runs a lot smoother:
* HD resolutions, and only that. Dunno how it is for the PC version, but the PS3 version only has HD resolution, which means the text is tiny, tiny, tiny. Only a little bit is readable, and the rest? Not a chance. * It's also DC, who are currently known as the "We don't really care about women" company. First off, there's only one body type that's a lady... which is also coincidentally the second lightest type: in other words, physically weaker than 3 of the guy's body types. And, to top it all off, you have to unlock the woman body type. Nothing says gender equality like having to level up to unlock a gender(as in it doesn't). While there appear to be issues in regards to technical stuff like matchmaking, they've said they're working on that. Not so much for what I just mentioned. Really disappointing, to be honest. Was looking forward to a solid, goofy FPS like TF2 here... buuuuut, not worth it. I don't recommend it at all right now. |

If I buy it, all I know is that I'm going to spend the first weekend yelling "I'm wearing hockey pads."

I've been waiting for Max Payne 3 for almost a decade so I'd say that's the most interesting one to me there...
The problem with Gotham City Impostors is the entire basis of it is like, a five minute action scene at the beginning of The Dark Knight, and will probably wear thin pretty quickly, and you don't even play as Batman, either, so I'd be more interested in hearing about Arkham County or whatever they're working on nowadays over there at Rocksteady. Like actually if Impostors had been like, Batman trains a bunch of dudes to be like his Batman Inc. army or something and they fight like Batman, versus a bunch of thugs who fight like the Joker, that would have been more interesting. As it is both sides shoot machine guns so it just seems kind of lame in execution.
