I figure whenever someone makes English mistakes I don't make they have to be pretty dim or at least have one of the plenty conditions that fuck up their linguistic abilities, because I'm not even a native speaker, I have to be worse than all of you. Right?

E: Seriously, damnit, It's wiener. WIENER. Why the fuck is it so hard for some people to get ei and ie right.

E: Fun Fact: In German weiner means whiner.

Fun fact: I've never seen Game of Thrones. That one gif is more enticement for me to watch it than everything everyone has said about it.

I know some people who learn English as their second language are often better than the average native speaker. One of my English professors in college was from India and she knew/knows far more about English grammar than I do. I'm assuming that since you have to learn it to master it, you avoid making mistakes that someone who just learned it totally "by ear" might. On the other hand, people who learn a language as a second language have problems with euphemisms and turns-of-phrase.

If anyone complains about the adaptation of the books to the show, I just point out that for all his genius George R. R. Martin never had the foresight to show Stannis was a Grammar Nazi. Freaking perfect.

objection makes perfect sense. I find kareshs 'what' to be objectionable, the information presented by smarty is easily understood.

As for the rest of what you've said i've no idea what you mean.

Even after I learned, grew up, and came to be on the right side of a lot of important issues, I was still angry, abrasive, and generally increased the amount of hate in the world, in pretty unacceptable ways.
