The trick with them is blasting them twice. The first one knocks them into the air or against a wall. The second one, if done correctly, reflects their attack. This will sometimes outright kill them, but if it doesn't they'll be confused enough for you to safely axe them. Still, I never go after either of them unless I have enough health to take at least one hit.

Then I'm very out of sync with airblasts. And sometimes, if you're too close, you die too even when reflecting.
