Also, did Melfice become a champion as well? I was under the impression that Champions could only be stationed under other Champions.

I don't think you're stationed under me. I'm thinking all your men were placed under my squad.

But then... I don't have access to the save, so I don't know for sure, of course.

Unfortunately there's no mechanism for the freshly dead to rise from the grave in Dwarf Fortress currently.

But it would be great if it did, then we'd see the following in the dwarfs' thoughts:

Our poor Watchmen. In fact I was trying to get the miners to dig some staircases down for her to get out, let the entire mine shaft flood to save our men however the Miners were too far away.

The layout of the fortress to be honest hasn't changed too much since Wigmund's turn. I will do screenshots of the outer level and probably the mine shafting leading to the river Styx as these are the areas that have changed the most.

Anyway:

Meet the Sniper

Hawk is one of the veterans on the Watch, he was assigned to the Marksdwarf squad where it was his responsbility to train them into an effective fighting force (although having no experience in using a bow himself.) As you probably know, his right lung collapsed quite a few seasons ago and has never truly healed which leads him to sometimes passing out on patrol or trailing behind the younger, fresher recruits.



Of course, this has not deterred him from being highly effective in combat, leading him to having one of the highest kill counts in the fort.



Hawk also has a lover, ooOOoo. Let's hope they give us Spartan offspring.

Hmm, the last paragraph reminds me of somebody...
