No, I did feel the shock, and yeah, it's AC here. And while I wasn't thrown to the opposite wall I believe there's a reason to that - when I jumped/got thrown back I went diagonally up backwards because I was besides a bed and I ended on top of it.

Edit: The question ain't "being thrown in the opposite wall" the question is not having my hand get burnt when half of the spoon pretty much disappeared. I should've kept the darn thing, as a keepsake.

Also adding:

That's almost as bad as when you accidentally shove a splinter wood in the sole of your feet when running. Never ran on a wooden board with bare feet again.

There are nations that use DC power for homes? No way. That's strange stuff.
