BM doesn't have the power to take over Hell anymore. BM's problems have aways been his poor aim and glass cannon status. Being dead removed the restrictions of the flesh so he could manage close combat and unleash his vast powers on the forces of hell. He has since lost his magical power, he'd just be anouther guy doomed to torment.

Are we sure about this? He was de-leveled, yes, but isn't he still a nexus of magic or whatever? I don't think you can just "take away" that status.

Unless Sarda specifically willed it. Which I suppose he may have.

At the very least, Sarda re-bound the nexus, (Black Mage gained his class change by unbinding it) though we were never actually told the exact method with which black mage took over hell, merely that it's success was due to the loss of his "fleshy limitations" and that it was maintained via spine removal and fear. So it could go either way when he dies, really

although, now that i think about it, the only person whose class change is really confirmed to be gone is thief, since he stole it from himself and tried a ninja flip (failing miserably). Red Mage wouldn't have been able to cast anything anyway thanks to the Sarda plan, Fighter might just be that dumb or Sarda might have literally stabbed the sword skill out of him with his own blade, and black mage never tried to cast anything.

Since Black Mage apparently needs to prepare his spells, and didn't have any left since he was relying on black tentacle power, he could very well be the same as he's always been.

Actually, since BM's outfit change was done seperately from his class change it's possible Sarda accidently just undid that.
