Especially the English. Pretty sure most English people fully expect the choke by penalty thing! Been over 10 years and it still hasn't been shaken off.

At least there is hope in the Rugby Union and Cricket for them.

No other major stories apart from the usual rampant corruption of Fifa, with South Africa basically getting screwed by the world cup, locals getting kicked out of their homes, local vendors being cracked down upon to make way for official sponsers, the money that is going to African causes is a small fraction of the massive profits, locals priced out of games, unsold tickets, some teams nervous after the Togo team got shot at during hte African cup. Same old same old.

Kinda depressing I had that exact phrase in mind before I even got to the end.
