Video Games Fat Princess PSP Is A Great Game That I Highly Recommend

Cake! For Everyone!

Cakey Please!

The top trailer is for the PS3 version of the game, dubbed "Fat Princess." The bottom trailer is for the PSP version, dubbed "Fat Princess: Fistful Of Cake." Yeah. And you see the game play up there? Virtually unchanged. There's really no difference.

I was a fan of this game when they released it via PS3 PSN, though only picked up the free demo. I saw the game in an HMV today, started playing it on the bus, and the bus trip was gone. I looked up and I was like three stops away from home. The bus ride sans Fat Princesses is close to an hour long.

The game is like a medieval Team Fortress 2.

No, really.

You've got the Medic, equatable to the Priest, the Worker is the Engineer... Hell, the worker upgrades your hats! What more do you want? Oh, yeah - hats. You start off in a medium sized map, a base on either side. In your base are several machines, each dispensing a specific hat. The moment you put on the pope hat, you're a Priest. The minute you put on the battle horns, you're a Warrior. It's that simple.

The goal of the game is to rescue your princess - meaning you run all the way to the other base and carry your princess back to your base while avoiding everyone else and the enemy has to do the same to you.

The game is very fun, easy to get into, and now that it's portable you have no excuse not to buy it.

Once again me not having money comes to bite me in the ass. (and losing out on a great job offer makes it hurt even more).

I've been looking for more Titles for my PSP (having only 6 games for it as oppose to my 20 + DS games is just not right.) And this definitely looks worth a try/buy. But it'll have to wait till after I get Eye of Judgment Legends for PSP. It's like chess only in card form and amazingly fun (for me).

Yes I love EOJ, It's a shame they might not due the card scanner thing again should they release EOJ 2. Mostly since it was released too soon back when PS3 was $600.

EOJ:L doesn't use the RL cards. Instead you obtain new cards in game through the shop and duels.

I should start an EOJ:L thread.

You could probably find the PSP demo online.

Another great thing is that this is single player, Ad Hoc multiplayer and full multiplayer.

There's a slew of game modes, each different from the one listed above. Destruction, for instance, is transporting a bomb into the other base. There's Team Death Match and regular Death Match. There's "Grim Reaper," which I haven't tried yet. That being said, I'm really digging this game. As I play, I'm finding out more and more I like. Some of the humor:

ANNOUNCER: They're in our base, pwning our newbs!
TIP: She hungers, coward!
THE ONLINE STORE: Welcome, stranger!
SOME OF THE BOT NAMES: Liquid Cake, Cake Eater, Solid Cake and Caketos.
TAUNTS: "Boom, headshot!" "Fracking toaster!" "I'll bite your legs off!"
