Funimation is teaming up with Bioware to make a Dragon Age anime...

I heard decent things about the Halo anime, so maybe this isn't as ridiculous as it sounds to me, but every time I think about it I think of Dragon Age with every bad anime cliche shoved in and I do a little hilarious dance of joy as I imagine all the raging fans. I want this to be awful, because if it is it will be so damn funny to see the reactions.

It's being done by Funimation and Bioware? So it's basically a western anime, then?

If so, I think there's probably a decent chance of it avoiding the cliches seen in anime in general.

Of course I could be wrong and it could turn out that, no, it's actually going to be a very typical anime. So typical it hurts.

I'm hoping that if it IS bad, it will be so bad that they just go fuck it and take it the distance to being so bad it's good.

I am hoping for either an over-the-top action anime (complete with them calling out the names of their attacks), or a harem anime where Morrigan, Leliana, and Zevran all run around daintily going "ARISTARU-KUUUUUUUNNNNNNN~"
