Drink lots of water/Gatorade-ish type drinks. It helps the sluggish feeling.

Its only in the high 80s-mid 90s in Mississippi, but the heat index is in the 100s. Humidity by the MS river is atrocious.

Yeah, you're too far north for liquid water to still exist. Unless your pool is filled with Cranberry juice, then maybe. That shit never freezes up here.

Also, try swimming in a pool of cranberry juice. It's fantastic and not sticky at all.

mmm...cranberry juice... I love cranberry juice.

must stick some in the freezer when I get home.

cranberry ice cubes + cranberry juice= not watered down but very cold juice.

You Canadians have it good. Here in Wisconsin, we have a fish problem. As in our beaches annually get flooded with dead fish. The kids use them as flags for their sand castles. Walk down the beaches in Milwaukee in summer and they crunch under your feet. It's so bad we've thrown up our hands and made a party out of it. It's called the "Running of the Alewives."

Bi-annual? Try Bi-quarterly. those cows just keep walking through here like they own the damn place! the heat just makes it even ten times worse! But I'll take the cow crap roads over the no summer any day. Honestly, you'd think those Edmontonians would wise up and realize that not only does no one want to even play hockey there, they don't even get a break from the water freezing the minute they fill a pool up.

Thats why Im heading to burlington for a week, to get away from the pre-stampede stench!
