You guys actually spoil a lot of games for me. I read your spoiler tag stuff, thinking that it's a game I'll probably never play, and then three months later I inevitably end up buying it for myself already knowing the plot twists because listening to you guys talk about it made it sound really awesome.

I'm pretty sure that happened with Shadow of the Colossus, at least for the very ending of the game. I don't mind, though, since Shadow of the Collossus is fantastic.

This. This is me. I see a spoiler box for a game I'm currently playing, I'm on opening that like Pandora. I also tend to get information from game-specific wikis and as you can imagine that makes it a lot worse.

I don't mind it all that much, though, even when I end up knowing all the main plot twists in advance I just keep watch for how they set things up, and that's fun as well. Or to put it another way, if an entire game stops being worth playing just because you know one plot point, it's probably not that great a game to begin with.

(Although I'd argue Bioshock is an exception to that - great game either way but not knowing it in advance makes it much better still.)
