Make working out a daily event. And I don't mean "Oh hey I went for a 15 minute jog and I kinda' worked up a sweat." I mean, "Oh my god, my fucking arms are on fire."
Also worth in, your body temperature drops when you sleep, hence why we use blankets. I often lay on top of my covers for a while to cool down, and I find that it helps me drift off. You need to crawl back under the blanket, but by that point you're probably around half asleep anyways.

It's true, though. I hate it when my family sets the A/C too low, because my room is the smallest in the house and always 1-2 degrees F warmer or cooler depending on if we're heating or cooling. When it gets down to 68F, I'm nigh-incapable of waking up because I'm a skinny little guy and it's enough to keep my metabolism low enough to keep me under. You'd think my mom, a nurse, would understand this, but apparently not. Hell, I think if I was underwater, 68F would be low enough to be fatal.
