So there's tis guy at school who takes great strides to keep himself groomed.

Now, as a guy, I shave regularly, I brush my teeth, whatever. This guy is talking to me about hair removal, about sunless tanning and going to the gym. I've got to wonder, what's with the whole metrosexual craze? Buying chemicals to burn off hair and bronze-whatever are news to me.

Ugh, going to the gym, being in shape. That's disgusting!

I don't know what the craze about, but to be honest, I do a lot more hair removal now than I ever used to, after my ex taught me what to do and what not to do. Damn that woman disliked hair.

You can talk to women but show that you're an guy that looks good in whatever they do. And yes, less women are attracted to less hair and a little gym time.

It's just like some women with armpit hair just don't appeal to us on first glance.

We really need to institute an "Every Time Seil Posts A New Topic, He Has to Use the Seil Tag" policy.

C'mon Seil! You're letting a perfectly good image go to waste! And in forum conversations that practically scream "This is a Seil topic," no less!

Anyway, I hated on metrosexuals until I realized that a disproportionate number of the metrosexuals I knew had very successful love lives with gorgeous women, made more money than I and thus had more income to waste away on petty luxuries, and (as this week has proven) performed far better than I in a corporate interview setting.

...Now I'm almost kind of sort of jealous. I just apparently value my ability to slouch around and play videogames like a bum a bit more than the commitment of wasting time grooming myself to such obsessive lengths.

I like looking good, simple as that.

Edit: I have a very nitpicky personality that focuses heavily on details of certain things, so I don't like things being out of order. This goes heavily for hair.

Don't make me get on a plane right now. I'll do it. There's a 3:30AM flight, I can still make it. The buses run that late. I'll seriously do it. Okay I'm fdoing it. Consider your eyebnrows plucked.

It's over, just spedn the next 7 hours of flight time accepting it.
