I'm not sure if someone brought this up already, but uh... this pretty much doesn't affect anyone in the Western world. Horoscopes and the like are based on the tropical zodiac, which is a fixed constant unaffected by earth's movement, while Eastern astrology uses the sidereal zodiac, and IS affected by this.

I've posted this in so many different places now, I just love the irony that I'm an atheistic rationalist skeptic who's going around correcting people on their knowledge of the zodiac.

Pretty sure FFT already had Serpentarius in it, like, 12 years ago so Japanese people at least were already aware of this discrepancy between East and West Zodialogicalwhatchamacallits at least 12 years ago (or in real life probably 5000 years ago), as should everyone else who played FFT. As such some of you either didn't play FFT (for shame!) or forgot about this being in the game (for shame!).
