Insanity doesn't have to look insane. Though, I dunno if AB could pull it off.
Regardless, I'm pretty sure it's just a plothole. It's now his fault you remember everything single little thing anyone ever said. And since it is most likely just a plothole, I dunno, I think what you should've done rather than bring it up in-RP would be to ask AB about it here first.
