I'd post the nice guy rant, but that's kinds dumb. I'd say "grow some balls," but that's both slightly rude and minimalist. here's what Imunna say: be yourself. Say what you want, think what you want, order what you want, write what you want. Don't try to impress anyone else, don't try filling silence with mindless chatter. (Barring TF2) Just do what you do and if shit happens, remember to bag it and throw it out.

The problem with your advice is that "myself" in social contexts is the prototypical "nice guy" who believes too much in good morals to engage in behavior that would satisfy his inner Id. Dear God what I wouldn't give to live like Nikose and have his values for a day, but they just aren't my values or my beliefs, no matter how hard I try to convince myself otherwise.

Seconding this. Anyone who can't appreciate a person who wants to know them on a deeper level than swapping spit for a few minutes is probably not someone you want to lose sleep over. Don't worry, eventually you'll meet someone who makes the first move, and things will be good.

You're a cool guy, and I'm sure females have noticed, and then had the same reaction as you do, which is to say not making advances. My suggestion is to either become a bit more comfortable making the first move, or just be content knowing that you're awesome, and wait for a girl who will.
