You guys are forgetting option #4, we decide that Primm is full of whiny wimps who can't take care of themselves. Thus we use Love and Hate to sneak-murder every one of them (it also leaves the casino bank as an easy target). Actually, might as well get Meyers in so Punch gets the quest xp and then murder the town. We can pick up ED-E later when we get enough repair to teach him to fly.

There's already too much experience in this game if you do most of the side quests. Why do you want to kill everyone?

lets do Primm up to when we decide sherif for two reasons

1. we shouldn't assume everyone has played, some may have absolutely no idea what we are talking about let alone our options. I know I'm not the only one aware of this since you guys used spoilers.

2. how thing play out can change things. For example if we go the normal route and save an ungrateful deputy I doubt he'd be inclined to help the town at all and just be on his way as soon as possible

The Deputy has no real influence on the result for the sheriff thing since he's a total pansy. It doesn't make any difference if you let him go, shoot him on sight or talk him into getting shot by powder gangers (worst temporary companion ever). He'll refuse to be sheriff and should we get Meyers then he'll be fired.

Aldurin I think what Aero was saying is that going by the character people might not want to help Primm due to being annoyed by that jackass of a deputy. Which is why abandoning Primm and moving further south will be a voting option once the Bison Steve is cleared

We need science for Krylo's suggestion. But yeah not for getting the companion in Primm in fact we're good to go with that already due to some stuff I did off camera due to it being boring.

as for the powder gangers, i think this will be important as to how we represent the character. Whether he is the type to be vengeful for those that are his enemy, tries to avoid them, or tries to find peace. I do think in this case we could justify him being genocidal and just wiping out everyone inside. But truth is thats a very cowardly move and would mean our character is so scared of death he'd wipe out anyone that poses even a slight threat.

Personally I say we go there and confidently act like nothing has happened, but the moment they turn on us we kill anyone that attacks

You forget that Mr. Rockgroin possesses and intelligence level that lacks room for that level of cunning. Basically, Rock get angry, Rock smash face with fist and/or explosions. It may be more of a kill-on-sight matter for him, which may seem genocidal when he gets around to exploring every powder-ganger place.
